Good point. Haven't seen an afternoon paperperson for a good while. I bought it in the evening a while ago when the news of something or another had broken around lunchtime and I wanted to read about it. To my surprise there was nothing in the evening paper! The saturday edition now costs more than the rest of the week and they fill it with entertainment news & diverse other garbage to justify the cost. The start of the slide was when they dumped The Pink. I could have won money on you replying to the Klindt/Adams comment If you buy it each time someone threatens to string up Moxey or the Scouse user you must be having it daily Why would you not want to read about Mrs Miggins of Brierley Hill's broken clothes line Biggest fish in an ever decreasing pool, all of the Dead Tree press are on the road to extinction. Utter gollox yet again from the not very dynamic duo. I hope you're right, I'm going to try to get Ladbrokes to pay off the mortgage next season

I stopped buying the E & S when it reverted from being an evening newspaper with a first and town/city edition to a paper that printed in the morning and whose stories were 12 hours old come teatime. As for Adams's quote, complete gollox as he seems to think he'll be the arbiter of when he's nothing left to offer. That's for the punters who stump up their brass to decide. I had almost had my fill of the plank and his handling of Klindt v Brum finished the job.

I may be made to look a mug but if CVS & Adams aren't going through an exit strategy from Wolves in favour of the Spoons I'll be amazed. Or maybe they're just incompetent.
-
Ok, thanks for the replies. Hiring riders in full knowledge that they'll miss meetings, madness.

So Masters signs for Wolves then sometime later signs for Headinbra yet the latter have 1st claim on his services when fixtures clash? Really?
-
Just having a last look in before the holidays, went to the confirmed signings thread first and only just realised , that on averages, JK is our #1. How this sport in general, and Wolves in particular, have fallen. Jeez. Have a gud un

There's a lot of hole digging going on

Rather be thick & biased than a member of the BSPA. So up yours Cook.

I couldn't give a flying who's right & who's wrong. What I do know is the ranks of the professionally offended are out in force. I've certainly been called it in the past, laughed and gave them one back.
-
I thought for a minute that it was another cost saving measure by the BSPA and we'd be using retreads in 2016.

Oh er, let's insult some of the paying customers. A certain other promoter did that a few years ago, not a good idea.

Once a Spoon, always a Spoon. Cradley fans revered him, he responded by stabbing them in the back. Lovely fella.

Is this looking for a replacement or something new? http://www.wolverhamptonwolves.co/news.php?extend.2415

The judgement on the British U21 champ will be when he, as expected, moves into the top 5. Going somewhere or going nowhere.
-
El Aldio? Wasn't he in one of the spaghetti westerns?
-
53 = Intelligent quotient. Or the average score of the home team v Wolves in 2015.

Why do I get the feeling this might not have been thought through.

Pike is missing from the list.
-
Because the continuance of the sport in this country is more important than either the PL or El.
-
And you believe him Steve? Gobsmacked
-
Also interesting that when it was all going titties last season PK was put up front and centre as the spokesman for the promotion to hide behind. The one person we haven't heard from over all this is PK himself (doesn't do twitter?). Assuming he has something to say, and wants to, it would appear the vehicle of the OS is no longer available to him. That's gratitude for you.

IMO what should have happened is we should have signed the best 2nd string in the EL and made it public that this, come what may, (and if that was what he wanted) would be PK's last hurrah in Wolves colours then everyone could move on in 2017. As it's turned out he will now loom over Wolves next season, every time Thorssell doesn't come up to expectations it'll be 'If that would have been PK that wouldn't have happened' etc etc. They've made a rod for their, and Jacob's, collective backs. As I've said before, God help them if he signs for someone else and produces. Until and unless he does sign elsewhere, Thorssell has his own Swedish Sword of Damocles hanging over him.
