If we're going to have Klindt Adams needs to ensure he has as many gate 4s as the rules allow (Sorry BW)
-
Ruddy 'eck, spent an hour checking I'd got it right. I give up
-
Not that I'm suggesting we should, or even could, track this 7 and obviously we don't yet know whether the rules would allow it and the riders are available/willing. I was just messing about trying to see what was possible with the 'knowns' so far. Lindgren 10.09. Masters 8.88. Nilsson 6.88. Nicholls 6.59. Kerr 6.16 Harris 6.09. Batchelor 5.26. 49.95. If I've made glaring errors then I'm sure some kind soul will correct me (And I know picking Batchelor is probably an error) I'll adjust as the corrections flood in 2 things would be certain. The rest might as well not bother and it'd bankrupt CVS
-
I know, I know, but the question has got to be asked. Batchelor 5.26? Unsurprisingly he's not flavour of the month with KL fans for next season but he can't fall any further can he?

The important thing imo, at this early stage, seems to be to have the right riders in positions equal to their ability (Sorry BW, plagiarism alive and well ). I've got a feeling teams will be built on top end strength without too much thought to having at least one strong reserve.
-
I haven't been able to get my head around all the stuff on the AGM thread but one suggestion seems to be that once we get to the first set of averages and the stupidly high ones, held mostly by the GP boys, convert to an actual that what is likely to happen is clubs will use the points that are saved to drop say a 3.00 pointer and introduce another 'heat leader'. Knowing that in previous seasons GP riders like to use the early season UK meetings to get match fit and shake down the machinery wouldn't it be mutually useful for these riders and their clubs to at least start the season, the Polish thing notwithstanding. If the Polish thing of 3 teams as reported is correct then I think Lindgren will be back.

A better solution would be the Spoons back to Stoke
-
ITV, World of Sport, Speedway, Dave Lanning. Nuff said.

I can of course see why Bomber appears to be a wanted man by several track's supporters including Wolves. However caution may be the wisest course at the moment. Over the years the early close season must haves have proved to be anything but.
-
If the PZM get their way only 1 of them will ride in the UK next year.
-
Strangely we seemed to manage without this year
-
Might as well just have the Spoons 1-7 from this season.
-
That was before drillgate.

Like I'm going to listen to the Pearson's opinion, Spoon loving $hite supporter. If I met him face to face I'd ask him one question, 'When was the last time you paid to get into Monmore Green?'. I don't need to ask as I already know the answer. When fans are let in free that's the day they're not allowed a say I'm happy to be called a keyboard expert, a lot on here would disagree

As I said last night, Sky do what they always do, pander to the professionally offended. It's me and my fellow subscribers who put the money in to make it happen, without us Sky haven't got a business. -

And since when were Sky the arbiters of good taste? -
A tweet popped up prior to monday's match wishing Wolves luck from Tobiasz Musielak. Now he's riding in the Olympique next week.

I've made my opinion on Woffinden known on numerous occasions but I have to smile at his detractors. You'd have him and his points in your team anyday and bite the bullet.

A better comeback would have been 'Who's smokin' now?' -

No one who watches live sport worries that they might hear swearing, it comes with the territory. In fact I'd be disappointed if I didn't. Sky are trying to protect themselves from the professionally offended, they just end up sound like dicks. -

Belle Vue press release december 2016. 'Matej Zagar will not be returning to Belle Vue in 2017. we have achieved a major coup and can now confirm he will be replaced by Tai Woffinden'. He can be an annoying git but get real, you'd have him and his points in a heartbeat. -

It's the normal reaction of folks in all walks of life when they realise there's a bigger dog. I like Cookie and his passion for his team is laudable but there are times when you need to realise your place in the grand scheme of things. It ain't no disgrace to admit others might be operating at a higher level than you. -
Let's get the fun started. To Tai or not to Tai, that is the question

Commiserations to the Aces, you put the $hitters up us big time, great track, love it to bits. This title win should give hope to everyone, CVS was taking the mick, the fans voted with their feet (and money), he got the message. Last word must go to the old fella, what a wonderful representative of his sport he is, we've just been lucky to have him at Wolves. The word is often chucked around willy nilly without merit but I can safely say, Peter Karlsson, a legend of British speedway and it looks like he's going out where he deserves, at the top. Gooooooooooooooo on me babbies!!!!!
