  1. That's the key. If it ends up Clegg & a 2.00 at reserve we're in the poop!
  2. As long as Masters is the 3rd heat leader and Wells a second string (See, I'm learning BW ).
  3. Until Poole release the signing of Klindt I refuse to believe CVS would allow it to happen. I guess if Klindt wants to go there CVS won't have much choice but if we lose him because of higher wages it'll be frustrating. Lindgren 10.09 Thorssell 9.88 Masters 8.88 Wells 7.92 Kurtz 5.76 Klindt 5.42 ? 2.00 49.95 Not necessarily a team I'd want, just trying to 2nd guess CVS. It sure wouldn't. That being the case it'll be Max & Ash.
  4. I thought that was only in the Championship
  5. It's only november but I guess it's ABP time again
  6. I guess that Nic Klindt will ride where Nic Klindt wants to ride. If it ain't Wolves then the loan fee will go towards paying the wages of those who do want to. That being said if CVS allows one his own assets on a false average to go elsewhere I'll be amazed.
  7. Just clocked the Coventry thing. Oh well, move on. The Riss brothers have, shall we say, come in for a bit of criticism from the Edinburgh promotion after last season for always being knackered due to their heavy schedules. http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/speedway/monarchs/monarchs-want-assurances-from-riss-brothers-before-any-new-deals-1-4293860 Plus Erik pulled out of the Olympique after initially accepting the booking. I don't believe it was an injury and that sort of stuff doesn't go down well with CVS. I may be wrong about that but I'm sure some kind soul will correct me if I am
  8. Lindgren 10.09 Thorssell 9.88 Masters 8.97 Palm Toft 6.98 Bjerre 6.44 Klindt 5.42 ??? 2.00 49.78 Until we know what the points limit is when the first set of new averages come out (probably a talk in question as no one seems to be letting on) it's hard to know whether to go with a 2 pointer is the way to go. I can't/won't believe that Matt Ford is going to stick with his 2 pointer for the whole season. You just know he's got an 'upgrade' plan.
  9. Probably right. I only mentioned him because CVS has seemed to have a soft spot for him over the years.
  10. *Hard hat at the ready* Rory Schlein 7.17 @ 2nd string. Anyone? Anyone?. *Tumbleweed*
  11. According to my very shaky logic (and maths ) that top 4 plus Clegg, Klindt and a 2 pointer would be 50.05! Does anyone know what the points limit will be when the first set of averages are released?
  12. So Poole have gone with a 2 pointer, James Shanes. Interesting.
  13. Will make a pleasant change. We're usually the arse draggers
  14. Having said that if he should head for Dorsetshire again then a reassessment would no doubt be in order
  15. At least we've avoided the Play Off Kenny bullet, if it was ever aimed in our direction
  16. I must be having a brain fade as the BSPA site has Clegg on 4.34. I know I've seen 4.04 a while back. What have I missed? http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl16_issue_final_1.pdf
  17. That'll be Klindt's average off the inside gates
  18. The one thing Klindt can do, when he's not hitting the tapes, is gate and that ability, together with speed to the first bend, has always been the main point of difference between the EL & PL. I'm not keen on him being in the team myself but if they get it right then when he goes up into the main body a rider of equal standing will drop to reserve to replace him. No one has really shown their hand with reserve picks yet, everyone seems to be sorting the top 5 and then a case of 'who fits?'. Some will go with 2 pointers, Klindt v 2 pointers, even he can't cock that up can he? 4.34 for Headinbra last season isn't it Col or am I reading it wrong again?
  19. That was my first thought but far too polite When they re-sign Kennett it'll be a hat trick!
  20. Good luck to Rye. Brave enough to make the step up so deserve a decent team. Looking a bit like a rest home for former Bees at the moment though
