You didn't read the double page spread in the Sixer or the full page in Wakefield on the mascot and you didn't see the groups from schools, scout groups, junior football clubs, cycle speedway, the Samaritans, the children's hospice or motorcycle training groups who came along free of charge. You obviously missed the reciprocal displays between the Tigers and Harleyworld in Chesterfield not withstanding the 10,000 tickets given away to schools and childrens organisations each year. The hoarding at the top of the Car Park that has been refreshed every year, the banners that Machin puts out in Penistone Road on race day and has been fined for. The leaflets that have been placed in the tourists guides in city centre hotels and that is just a few that I can recall that I have been aware of as someone who has helped on the track staff.
