Just seen this and there is a Graham Drury reaction piece on there from Tuesday morning sent by the Brummies press office - there was nothing from Kent as they didn't send anything! You seem to have a real chip on your shoulder about something here. Have you had a bad experience with the Birmingham press office? Good to see an updated league table on their website and professionally written material.

So millions of pounds over a five-year period should be dismissed just so we can watch Clean Cut and Rerun. Interesting.
-
So you'd have preferred a veteran who isn't really fussed whether he rides in UK this year as opposed to two exciting young riders who are desperate to improve?
-
Of course Tuesdays will be available (on occasions) and you will find the British Final elsewhere in 2016. Van Straaten will do right by Wolverhampton and Cradley will have to slot in around the main tenants - simple. Their Golden Hammer will probably be in SWC week when Wolves don't run. There's no way CVS and Ladbrokes would have agreed to this if it wasn't possible so where's the problem?
-
Ha ha ha ha so Van Straaten kicked himself and the others out of Monmore with Cradley because of their big crowds? Your are in dreamland! Ladbrokes admitted it was their decision to have one night of speedway when contacted by local paper and radios, so why would CVS walk away with his colleagues from what everyone seems to say was a money earner? Hilarious!

Golden Hammer Wed 12th August @ Perry Barr

Cradley website and press release: Club Director Nigel Pearson said: “I just want to thank the Dudley Stroke Association, all the supporters and the Birmingham Speedway staff for a hugely successful night and offer my congratulations to Adam Ellis for a terrific victory.” Doesn't see they went out of their way not to mention Adam to me! -

Total nonsense, factually incorrect. Berwick's website is hosted on the BSPA server like all of the other ones. -
Cradley Heathens V Buxton Hitmen - National League (29/04/14)
Piccolo replied to Hunty's topic in National League Speedway
Would Cradley fans support Premier League on a Tuesday at £15 instead of £11?? Even if they were mid table or lower? I reckon the three wise men would love to know the answer. -
Phil. I'm just trying to find your post asking people to back off Povey like you are with McLaughlin.
-
Phil - with respect, you stood by and allowed Birmingham officials including their press guy / mic man and their family members amongst others to slander Andy Povey when he was seriously ill in December, so why is McLaughlin getting preferential treatment on here? Accusations levelled against Povey and AP Media by some should have been referred to a solicitor I reckon. Have a look, brummies website thread.

British Speedway Promoters Meeting
Piccolo replied to dantodan's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
How many times do you "experts" need telling? No-one is forced to use A P Media, club sites are hosted by a dedicated BSPA server which was recommended and is maintained by Bextec Solutions. -
SGP, don't take the Mick. This was on the Brummies forum last night from Dave Rowe who is the Brum's prog ed and announcer: No - all sites must be hosted on the BSPA's dedicated server, but AP Media is not the server administrator, and in the 2013 season five of the ten EL clubs had AP Media websites.

Clearly the Sheffield management have made decisions to wind everyone up on this forum and I expect them to continue doing just that, in fact where they are going wrong is by managing the team before and during the meeting - they should be doing it afterwards when they get home like the rest of the turkeys on this forum. They'll have to have a second, third and fourth in the Richard of the week award next week!

Message To The Leicester Promotor
Piccolo replied to robert72's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
They were probably waiting for you to give out a studio DDI because they haven't yet realised you are the Bedroom Broadcasting Service. What does the FM stand for in Biker FM? Oh nothing it's just a name to imply that you are a spectrum broadcaster, right, sorted your Skype out yet? -

Are you looking at the right Accuweather? light showers between 1 and 3 then nothing until 12.00am Friday in this wind they'll have to water http://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/sheffield/s6-2/hourly-weather-forecast/51672_pc?hour=11 It's definately on buddy. -
I hear as part of the improvements the turnstiles will be made narrower John! Steady, Hall and Wells, £60 worth of ale and park my van for £20 less, only a tenner to get into Workington when I go at least 4 times a year saving me another £16 and I can watch from the comfort of the restaurant. That's £96 I'll save at least yep my glass is half full, "Owlerton Stadium the Wembley of the North"

I heard he was the highest paid rider last year but didn't deliver and he's been offered the same points money and the same sign on so who's right?
-
That's interesting I heard they were announcing another name this week.
-
So you've not seen them at Pease Hall Halifax, Rother Valley Park, Hillsbrough Park, The Moor, The Olympic torch procession, The Frontier Batley, The Steelers, Sherburn in Elmet, Carisbrooke Hall with their exhibition stand, Gazebo TV/DVD bike race jackets and a rider giving out promo dvd's and free admission? You didn't read the double page spread in the Sixer or the full page in Wakefield on the mascot and you didn't see the groups from schools, scout groups, junior football clubs, cycle speedway, the Samaritans, the children's hospice or motorcycle training groups who came along free of charge. You obviously missed the reciprocal displays between the Tigers and Harleyworld in Chesterfield not withstanding the 10,000 tickets given away to schools and childrens organisations each year. The hoarding at the top of the Car Park that has been refreshed every year, the banners that Machin puts out in Penistone Road on race day and has been fined for. The leaflets that have been placed in the tourists guides in city centre hotels and that is just a few that I can recall that I have been aware of as someone who has helped on the track staff. Same old same old Dan Machin's not ambitous, will never take the sport forward etcetera, etcetera, etcetera

27.73 actually, top 4 in the averages Lanham, Doolan, North and Tungate - same for every club so they didn't qualify and Redcar were above them on 27.81 once Scunny dropped out. -

Except it was Lakeside's meeting and they run it on the night, I'm sure the Lakeside staff are appreciative of your support.
