Luke Priest isn't even on the list which was released for September. So things must be bad availability wise or like most of us fans maybe they just can't be bothered with the sport anymore -

Not sure why people take notice of the teams on the Updates until at least 30 mins before the meetings. As an Updater myself the teams we put down are a guess unless there's a Press Release with the teams on. They aren't confirmed until the bit what says Teams to be confirmed at the the bottom of the page says Teams Confirmed.

In a league that is meant to be used by youngsters as a stepping stone to Premier then Elite league racing, It's such a shame that folk would rather see the likes of Lambert, Mason, Compton, Halsey, Armstrong, Starke, Cockle who have all been riding for 5 or more even 10 in some cases at this level rather then support and back the youngsters coming through. This is a big reason why British speedway is dying on it's arse. The youngsters get no backing from the Authorities or the fans. Anyway back to tonights meeting Good Luck to the Stags who will give it 100% no shadow of a doubt. -

Lawson and Ellis are Lakeside assets they should be riding for the Hammers. Ellis isn't due to his request which has been granted by the Hammers management. It's down to the rider not the team. -
As I said it's Benji http://www.poolepirates.co/news/0806_poole-v-swindon-preview.html Riders with a grading below 24 may be replaced by any Rider who has a grading below 24 regardless of the actual grade This rule obviously means for signing's as well as guests. The BSPA site should make it clearer.

# Denotes riders are only available for guest purposes and not full time positions. Each rider can guest only 4 times for each of the Elite League teams. If a Fast Track (FT) guest is needed then the Guest replacement will be selected from riders as follows: Riders with a grading of 24 or above may only be replaced by a rider with a lower grading Riders with a grading below 24 may be replaced by any Rider who has a grading below 24 regardless of the actual grade A new FT grade list will be amended according to current form and issued with BSPA Green sheets. The updated FT Grade list will take effect 1st of month until the last day of the month. Riders can be added or removed at each of the months FT grade list Does this work the same for signing riders? if so Benji Compton just happens to be in 25th place.

Johnson's been dropped BrendanDavidJohnson @BDJRacing13 3m 4 meetings in the Elite League and then I get the boot. Once again I am never given chance to bed in and prove myself..absolutely gutted.

I think where Scunny missed the trick was last month in July they had 1.00 to play with average wise to replace Williamson and they didn't use it. It's ok carrying him at home because they get away with it but when the other guys aren't scoring away you can't carry anyone whose not going to score. No blame of this laid on Matt but as has been stated before the PL spot has come a year or two early for him.
