  1. From Panthers Website TEENAGE star Robert Lambert and injury victim Lewis Blackbird will miss Peterborough's big East Anglian derby showdown against Ipswich tomorrow night (Friday). Lambert has informed Readypower Panthers bosses he cannot return from Denmark, where he represented Great Britain with huge credit in the Speedway World Cup Race-Off tonight, in time to face the Witches at the East of England Showground (7.30pm start). Lambert is within his rights to miss the Premier League clash as it comes 24 hours after his involvement in an FIM meeting while Panthers are entitled to a facility. They will operate rider replacement to cover his absence. Club chiefs have also hired in-form Redcar man Matej Kus to replace Blackbird who is still being troubled by the effects of a heavy crash on May Bank Holiday Monday. Captain Ulrich Ostergaard will ride through the pain of toe and ankle injuries while regular guest Brady Kurtz has been drafted in at number one.
  2. Exactly each team maybe using R/R tonight but at least you'll see 4 rider races.
  3. World Cup even more of a farce now with 1 team riding with 3 riders.
  4. Why would anyone want to watch the race-off when there's live speedway to go to. The World Cup is the same bore fest won by Denmark or Poland every year
  5. Just a question. Good to see Ashley getting a booking after the way Plymouth treated him but is he allowed to guest? I didn't think Unattached riders were allowed to guest He has No PL club and hasn't got a 3.00 PL average to be classed as an NL guest?
  6. So Scunthorpe, Sheffield and Plymouth miss out. Group A Edinburgh Ipswich Rye House Peterborough Newcastle Group B Glasgow Somerset Workington Redcar Berwick
  7. My Old man has said the same for years about riders giving him too much respect in the GP series.
  8. Jan Staechmann replied to him and said that it was a meeting that couldn't take place not practice. (An NL one did but I guess they don't count). Just Hancock having a whinge.
  9. I agree format is final. Top Scorer winning bollocks is crap for the spectator. A team or rider (whatever the format) has a crap first ride or 2 and have no chance of winning they'll just give up, Were as when you have semi's and finals riders keep going to the very end as they never know they might sneak through.
  10. Suspected Broken Thigh http://www.glasgowtigers.co/lawsons-rich-vein-of-form-but-concern-for-kozza/
  11. Barker for Auty Hall for Davies R/R for Douglas (Anyone but Barker can take extra rides). Hall at Number 5 ouch. Lets hope he keeps his feet to himself to
  12. Although they won it last year. That's on Page 32 of the their 1000 page book
  13. It'll give Cradley an excuse should they not win it anyway
  14. They'll (GB and USA) both be out by Friday
  15. You'll more then likely be without King and Manzares for your next home meeting vs Newcastle
  16. Shouldn't matter if Glasgow and Edinburgh were in same group. The 4 names should be put in a hat or something or other and drawn out randomly like The FA Cup in football etc
  17. Yeah he's travelling to Italy today for the World Under 21s tomorrow.
  18. It's the World Under 21 qualifiers this weekend. Anyone know the line-ups?
