According to a piece on the Kings Lynn Young Stars on the BSPA website. Josh Bailey is taking a break from the sport dye to confidence issues anyone heard anything?
According to Ipswich's website Scunthorpe are using R/R for Wilkinson. Did he sustain an injury in the awful looking crash with Robson at Sheffield last Thursday?
All Scunny riders did well apart Wilkinson maybe now Berge is out of a job he'll be looking over his shoulder.
Cut out problems for Nielsen cost him a few more points in Heats 3 and 7 but a good victory for The Scorpions. Echo HT's thoughts on the track they did their best under difficult circumstances
It's £17.50 to watch 15 heats at Glasgow so you can't complain at £17 for 40 it's your choice if you leave after the main meeting and no one says you have to buy food either.
Scunthorpe have rode enough meetings to get their new averages. I guess you're working off the old ones
Palm Toft 7.55
Auty 7.01
Kerr 5.98
Douglas 5.89
Wilkinson 5.80
Nielsen 5.53
Bailey 2.00
Total 39.76
Seems Scunny gave it a good go up to Heat 10 before running out of gas. Very unlucky fellas. They're were always going to be up against it but to lead that long into the meeting shows there is something good there.
I'm sure even better times are just around the corner and good luck to them.
Who hates it?
Masters always scores well
Pickering first visit for league match but has practiced on track by winning one of Scunthorpe's famous Amateur meetings
E Riss got 12 from 5 last year
Clegg grew up on the place
Wells loves it
M Riss flying everywhere at the moment
Davey stronger then Bailey and got 4+2 from 3 rides last year when guesting for the Monarchs
If the Monarchs don't win they'll only have themselves to blame or Scunthorpe will have done extremely well.
Good win for Scunthorpe but it'll only mean anything if they can back it up by winning at home tomorrow. It'll mean nothing like the impressive point they got at Workington then losing at home a day later.
