  1. Was awful at Hull as a team manager and didn't do much better at Berwick either. I've now looked it up Bailey was injured so didn't ride at Leicester but Kinsley did. It's been a couple of years since Nielsen rode there too. So the ones who haven't rode there recently were actually the ones from Scunthorpe (Nielsen and Bailey) who did their job
  2. One question I have to ask after reading Dave Peet's comments on the Scorpions site “Leicester haven’t been in our league for a while, so some of the lads had not ridden it before, and we spent most of the meeting trying to get dialled in, while the track was a bit grippy early on. “In the end, it became a stepping stone for our league meeting here later in the season. Next year we come back, we’ll be dialled in.” Which guys haven't seen the track before? Auty and Garrity rode for them. Allen rode in top flight last year so will have been to Leicester. Coventry rode their NL fixtures there so Bailey and Kinsley will have rode for Mildenhall and List rode in the ben fund a couple of weeks back. Got to wonder if he does actually have a clue
  3. Jake's Posted on Twitter his bikes are more injured then he is. He has a week off now and will be fine.
  4. Hope I'm Wrong but having seen the racecard I honestly can't see where Scunthorpe may get a heat advantage. They may get some race winners but I honestly can't see were a 4-2 or 5-1 in the Scorpions favour (minus falls and retirements) are going to come from.
  5. My Opinion is the way it has been done is very wrong and disappointing but at least it's 2 extra British riders getting jobs.
  6. Atkins and Rowe Bailey and Kinsley Great to see Brits been given a chance this is what reserves should be all about
  7. Has Steve Worrall been mentioned as a Potential Number 1 for the Tigers?
  8. Didn't someone say that Rob said it was a new rider to the championship? So that would mean it's someone on a 2pt average? If so unless they are going to top quality there's a little bit of waste on the average limit. If it is someone new to the championship I wouldn't be surprised at it been someone who is familiar with the other reserve.
  9. Auty 8.15 Allen 7.37 List 4.00 Bailey 2.51 (according to Paul Crute's article on Telegraph website) Total = 22.03 so far
  10. Tomorrow? Don't turn up tomorrow you might get a bit lonely. Try Sunday 5pm though. But yes it is worrying
  11. This was my 14th season working for the site and Sue was there before me. it's certainly flown by.
  12. You more then likely heard him say he couldn't guest at Scunny rather then wouldn't. For the same reason he wouldn't be able to guest at Workington for Scunthorpe but can guest at Scunthorpe the 5% rule. He guested for Nicholls (8.35) so can only guest at home
  13. with the 5% added on to Josh's Average at home (8.36 + 5% = 8.78) i'd go for Ricky Wells (8.40).
  14. Sure I read or heard somewhere it was going to be possibly the opening meeting of 2019
  15. Workington qualified for the final a fortnight a go the first leg is at Scunthorpe on Sunday 21st at 5pm
  16. Sorry deleted my post if you want to edit yours again lol

  17. Something I've always thought about is re-runs starting as a handicap system. How many times do we see a guy last then someone falls and the guy at the back winning the re-run. I think if one lap of the race has been completed and someone falls the re-run should have the guy who was leading start at the tapes, The guy in 2nd 5 metres away and the 3rd guy 10 metres away.
  18. Think change in Scunny riding order for October Auty or Guest goes to 1 with Steve moving to 5
  19. The first 2 reserves will replace them Niels K Iversen and Vaclav Milik Sundstrom Drabik Fricke next In line.
  20. You got the wrong tone of the post I was actually backing what Lucifer Sam was making. It seems nowadays everything that's wrong with Speedway is Scunthorpe's Speedway fault. hence the wink. There's more to the BSPA then Godfrey he can't make the decisions by himself he has to get the backing of the other members too. He just seems to get the flack because he the Spokesperson on most situation because the Chairman Mr Chapman hasn't got the balls to do most of the jobs himself.
  21. Auty's the only one that rode for Scunny when it happened so it's the only one that counts
