  1. Neither is Ryan Kinsley (if you want to win away meetings) before anyone says it
  2. What a great night loved every minute, Really reminded me of why I fell in love with the Sport 26 years ago. 13 riders going hammer and tong at each. Absolutely superb start to his home Sheffield career for Stefan Nielsen well done lad. Also really have become a big fan of Josh Pickering too. Think it was the first time I've ever seen Danyon Hume ride too, he certainly gained a fan tonight too brilliant stuff. But most of all what has really pleased me tonight is My Dad after several years (he's only been to a handful of meetings since our beloved Vikings closed) of not attending came with me tonight and absolutely loved it. He was the one that got me into the Sport all them years ago, So it's great I can now help bring him back. I ❤️ Speedway Thank you Sheffield Speedway
  3. Because Poole were 6 points behind and for about the last 3 to 4 years you've been allowed to use a tactical when 6 points down in Heats 5 to 14 (not including heat 8)
  4. Not sure why Ryan Kinsley and Josh Auty still keep getting mentioned to make the Playoffs Scunthorpe need to win more away meetings if you bring in Auty and Kinsley for any of the current line-up you still won't get them because both Ryan and Josh are similar to the rest of the Scorpions team (1 or 2 track ponies) minus Ellis and Jorgensen (Not including Palin)
  5. Schlein's, King, Worrall and Nielsen's average have changed today. Schlein 8.62 Worrall 7.96 King 7.92 Nielsen 4.29
  6. James Wright is guesting for Poole all wekk including the Scunthorpe fixture.
  7. The rule this year is you can use a guest with an average 25% under the Riders average so Smetana is on a 5 so Poole can use anyone with an average under 3.75
  8. Not that Pijper will be a miss at a track like Eastbourne but it's very coincidental he's 'Injured' the same night his lad is in the World 250cc final in Germany I'm sure he wasn't too injured to travel to that
  9. In the European Pairs final in France for GB with Harris and Brennan
  10. Not many Option's for the Scorpions really for Ellis with Leicester vs Poole that rules out most the obvious candiates. Craig Cook, Ostergaard or Sam Masters both fit but i doubt they'll fancy the Edinburgh to Eastbourne to Glasgow Schedule. Chris Harris is with Brennan and Ellis in France. The only options i can think of what could do a job are Charles Wright (Although he's nursing a slight knock and probably wouldn't risk a guest booking) or Scott Nicholls (He rode at Eastbourne last Sunday for Leicester so does that make him ineligible?) Erik Riss, Jake Allen, Michael Palm Toft or Ben Barker are the other options but not sure they'd be any good at Eastbourne
  11. Ben Cook, Stefan Nielsen and Dan Thompson guest for the Bears, R/R still in play for Stewart
  12. Scunthorpe's Programme is one of the best around. For £1 you get all you need the racecard for the meeting you don't need to spend £3 on a interview you read on the internet 3 days beforehand
  13. Worrall and Nielsen can take 1 each. Cook and Hume can take as many as Poole's team manager wants
  14. No doubt still beat Simon 'one track' Lambert in heat 1 though.
  15. This should be an absolute massacre in favour of the Scorpions before they get one back at them tomorrow at Leicester
  16. Sedgmen out, Pickering In for the Tigers
  17. No on fancies a trip to Scunthorpe in a 2 leg tie? Leicester already won at Scunthorpe this season by 14 points. Wouldn't be surprised if Leicester nearly hit 70 Vs the Scorpions this coming Saturday.
  18. The coin toss and Kelvin's dirtometer segment both take place well before the TV coverage starts.
  19. If the signings i've heard Leicester are making they certainly will win the league hans down, After they are announced if anyone thinks otherwise they'll be inzaine.
  20. I think a lot of the Crictism is unfair it was only 2 weeks ago. Josh got 9 from 4 rides against Glasgow (arguably the best team in the league). The kid had a big off last Sunday, His confidence will have taken a battering. One rider who does seem to escape any Crictism is Simon Lambert the guys been riding since the mid 2000s now and when did he eve score high points regularly away from home (apart from 2 or 3 meetings in 2019 when at reserve). It's all well and good going on about winning home meetings but to be successful you have to win away too. Simon is the captain and should be leading by example. As for anyone saying Josh Auty is better then Adam Ellis give your head a wobble.
  21. It was the Scunthorpe's Promotion request. Poole agreed to the postponement. No reason given as why.
  22. I'm guessing Andersen may be unavailable on Friday and having not yet rode for the Bandits they wouldn't be allowed a facility so must have reverted back?
  23. Rory Schlein's family use the Updates site regularly to check on his scores from Australia, I'm sure Zane and Ben's will too. There's also Stefan's dad in Denmark. Steve's mum is also a regular visitor on the site. It's a valuable asset for not just supporters, riders families too.
  24. He's not riding for Kings Lynn on Thursday (Rory Schlein is), So i'd guess Thomas won't be fit for Scunny on Friday. Thomas's average goes up to 6.91 (7.26 with the 5%) from Thursday. Sadly Josh Pickering is too high (Edinburgh aren't riding this Friday). Glasgow are riding so that rules out Ostergaard, Jake would fit at home but Redcar are riding, So it'll probably be Kyle Howarth or R/R as Thomas goes above Tero in averages.
