21.04.23 - Scun v Brum BSN Series
Fozzie4388 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think there's been a minor error on the Scunthorpe website regarding the Birmingham team for tonight if it goes ahead. Castagna is obviously riding for Edinburgh tonight. I believe it's Zach Cook of Poole guesting for James Wright -

This will be a massacre bit like Poole Vs Plymouth on BSN tonight plenty of home 5-1s likely Morris vs the Scorpions -
I know Proctor has rode for Redcar already but i do find it daft that riders from teams in the same group are allowed to guest. Edwards could basically score Massively tomorrow night and help Scunthorpe win at Birmingham helping them get through as Group winners leaving his own team Redcar hoping they're the best runners up or even KOing them from the Competition altogether. As always only in Speedway.

I think Complin will be having a few days off to spend with his New born son.

Peterborough v Belle Vue 17 April

Anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text for the Updates site? If so please get in touch. Thanks in advance -
Very sad day for the Sport yet again. 18 Years since my beloved Vikings closed down. Hopefully it won't be forever for the Panthers. The only positive of the situation is it might finally get rid of the goon with 1956 accounts on here.

I got shot down on a Facebook group when I suggested British Riders such as those mentioned above should be used as number 1s and captain for each team (1 per side) in like a draft system forget about their averages and have a lower points limit to use for the other 6 riders per side.

Typical British Speedway looking after the foreigners over their own. Well it's this country all over to be honest not just Speedway.
-
Rather then developing riders for other Countries (Team GB would see no benefit in helping them). I'd rather see British riders who only have the 1 team (Or 0 at all) who aren't part of the Fast Track system ride as a teams Number 1 and be Captain of that side and pass on the knowledge they've been given (From Team Mates in the higher league), Actually help the British riders get more racing instead of other Countries benefitting from it. Danyon Hume (If he doesn't get a top flight ride) Connor Mountain (If he doesn't get a top flight ride) Simon Lambert Adam Roynon Ashley Morris Stefan Nielsen James Shanes Lee Complin Alfie Bowtell Etc (Yes most have been riding years but most of them have never had any backing from The GB Set-up that the Youngsters do now)
