  1. Also if its No1 no room for Widman,Campos,Rayson,Courtney,Naylor either then, wonder if these riders will get a place anywhere
  2. Hi Neil 250cc Rhys Naylor,Nathan Stoneman,Lloyd Barrett,Tom Stokes
  3. There is certainly no devaluement in seeing our youngsters as at some other GP events they have youngsters on show but I must agree with Barbs 77 you paid your money to watch listen to and encourage Belinda Carlisle I would stay with your head in the sand mate. Anyway well done all the lads and a special thank you to BSI & Peter Oakes without whom it would not have been possible,Great performance all round by all 8 riders I know the pressure was on them as much as the GP Stars as not one wanted to let Down anyone that has supported them or the organisers. All I would say from the lads to Jeff we were at the tapes where were you(listening to Belinda Carlisle on your I-Pod) sorry I do not put comments like this normally!!!!
  4. Hi Joe Wishing you a speedy recovery hope to see about again soon Tom& Rhys
  5. The 250's had 3 rides each and all the lads looked impressive especially Adam Portwood who seemed to have up his game Connor Dywer put in a good performance as welll and looks to be improving every week as does Tom Stokes,
  6. Phil I did send an e-mail to Peter and phoned him to advise that Rhys wanted to take part at no time have I planned a rebellion all I have done as a parent is ask promoters if it would be possible they have said yes is that wrong of me to do so??or should just sit at home and think about what could have been?? as I said previously at no time have you ask myself if Rhys has entered the U-15,so my opinion is you should gather all relevant facts first then put it on the forum.I believe that by getting racing for the Lads I have got them noticed yes they have had a few meetings which helps there development so how does this constitute a rebellion, I would hope it could be seen as encouragment for the Lads giving them somthing to look forward to rather than 3 meetings of U-15. Tom
  7. Phil Just a note can you tell me where you got your information as I for one will bring the matter before Peter Oakes myself as at no given time have I pulled out any round or refused to ride in the event that I have known it was on,I have only pulled out of one event entered that being Workington. So I hope your Facts are correct and that you check with the relevant parties that all information is correct otherwise your posting is verging if not bringing the sport into disrepute????
  8. Neil You should tell it as it is you were in Mexico would Phil have paid for your air Fare.
  9. Hi Chris's Dad He did not ride like a Tart he went out and enjoyed it because he did not excel at his first attempt on a 250 do not put him down come on The Mighty Binty
  10. I can confirm that the numbers for Mildenhall are looking good I am waiting confirmation of the final line up but could be a great line up again.
  11. Sorry Neil did not read it properly I thought that there are certain personnel charged with doing different tasks and we have not had any negative feed back from tracks we have been to just posotive in practice we should have got on the phones earlier in the year instead of waiting until July my mistake I believe See Ya Soon Tom
  12. I think Neil has miss quoted the BSPA are the promotors and yes a big thank you for there help through the year,It's the youth development that is missing. Regards Tom

  16. Hi Montana As far as I am aware Lakeside and Eastbourne are trying to field Junior sides which they have done 500s,the meeting has been put on to raise awareness asI am sure by your comments this needs to be done if you go to your local club who you support and ask if they are prepared to put one on and include yourself it should go forward. All The Best for the future
  17. No it is not for the selected few to ride there is Lakeside vs Eastbourne Junior Match 250cc Pairs and the men in Black, meetings like this are few and far between and a lot of effort and planning has gone into this, have you asked your promotor to put a meeting on for you!!
  18. Good News all round if your a Junior on a 500 or on a 250 Lakeside/Arena on Friday 21st September 2007 have put together(after a lot of hard work)a meeting containing junior riders on both machines with the men in black also appearing 8pm start this meeting is focussed on British youngsters showing there potential so we all moan about not having British youngsters now lets support them if you can get there and support it please do so.
  19. Hi Bobc I am not sure were Peter has got his information from but to my knowledge he has had no conversations with the relevent parents my son being Rhys Naylor,Rhys recieved his letter inviting him to take part on 22.08.07 Weds this being due to local postal strike it said entries had to be in earlier that day or the rider would be classed as not wanting to ride.At no point has Peter Oakes spoke to us or contacted us he was at Lakeside Weds 22.08.07 also at Coventry 27.08.07 and made no attempt to speak or acknowledge Rhys in this day there is e-mail which I also am led to believe all the riders have oneI feel that as you are speaking for Mr Peter Oakes, I am now considering sending a copy of this to SCB/BSPA with offical complaint because I have for one have had enough of these comments, Mr Peter Oakes correct me if I am wrong is the youth devolopment officer.as for closed shop not the case everyone who owned a 250 was asked and those that said they wanted the ride at King'sLynn did.And to also let you know we get nothing in return for our riding unlike some of the others in the U-15s we have to take time of work and pay our own travelling expenses bike upkeep fuel and oil, I had written notifications that the 1st round due to take place earlier in July the day before, look forward to your reply
