  1. Er i would hardly say it will be a mickey mouse meeting!. Providing the Weather is ok, it will fill Poole to capacity!.
  2. I would go for Gollob and Holder. Gollob would be the biggest draw, but would he turn up?. He has let us down before!!. Sponsorship for such a meeting will be very sought after, but my only concern would be the track at that time of year, it will be bone hard, but im sure that plenty of preparation will go into making the track very racable, and fair for all the riders involved!!.
  3. If Lewis Bridger is there i'll do a Lanzilla round the poole track!. And i won't be doing that!!.
  4. Your lucky Lea, i had to sit down and enjure two bloody hours of it!. Yawn, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  5. As i said on another thread. Poor Scott Nicholls, he really does get some bad luck. Im not a great fan of his, but after tonight in Prague even im starting to feel a bit sorry for him!!.
  6. Poor Scott Nicholls, he really does get some bad luck. Im not a great fan of his, but after tonight in Prague even im starting to feel very sorry for him!.
  7. Know to all as Speedy Pete Jarman at Poole. Sorry to hear of his passing.
  8. Thank you, at last somebody with common sence agrees with me!!.
  9. Yeh, and you tell me what you would do to solve the imediate problem then!. Await your reply with interest.
  10. I will not have it with those who are blaming and pulling Neil to pieces. Yes i may be seen as a poole fan defending our Manager, but imo its down to the riders to select the right set up for the track. Don't also forget we had some very inxperienced riders out there last night at THAT level. I also believe that NO other manager would do any better!. I do not expect Neil to resign or be sacked, but if Neil wants to walk away then thats his perogative!. I feel so sorry for Neil, he so wants a World Cup winners medal. But we are still imo in the crossover period, and we need to just have a bit of patience and a bit persiverence. We have some talented youngsters, and they are going to need time. You can only work with what you have at your disposal!. Chin up Neil.
  11. Why?. be good to see the lad ride after his fantastic contrabution for us in the last few weeks due to Troys absence!!. Easy as you go Troy, ease yourself back into it, no heroics!!.
  12. Yep, would have to agree with Steve here. All 5 boys rode Brilliantly!. We go to the final in Great spirits, we now have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Lets put our best foot forward, everybody give it 200%, lets really give it a go, we have 5 riders who are more than capable of pulling up the trees, theres nobody any of our riders can not beat, even in Poland, everybody muck in and really get behind each other, and see where it takes us!!. Go for it boys!!!!!.
  13. I do back every one of them Shazzybabe-er bird. I have the utmost confidence in all the boys, especially on home ground, i said nobody is expecting us to win the World Cup, but i do expect us to qualify to the final from tomorrows round at Coventry!. And win lose or Draw, i would expect Neil to retain the job!.
  14. Don't take a whole lot of pleasing then do they!. The British GP was a fantastic advert for Speedway, this was bordering on very boring, on a track set up for the Danes!.
  15. As others have pointed out, no airfence. absolutely diabolical. Can't believe that, Ole Olsen in charge, but they cannot import an airfence, that is not good!!
  16. Nobody's saying we will win the world cup, but i think it will be looked apon as a disapointment if we don't qualify for the final from Mondays meeting. With so much home track advantage, and Lee Richardson in the form of his life!. As ive said before a long time ago, we are now in the middle of the crossover period, the young riders for the old guard. Some of the old guard are still good enough, and some of the young riders still a step away just yet!. I have full faith in Neils team management abillitys, and even if we don't win the world cup, i certainly don't expect Neil to pen any resignation!!. Give the man a break VV
  17. Thats always been Coventrys patter, but i totally disagree with that!. Look how successful the world cup at Poole was three years ago!. You will never find a better location with better racing!!.
  18. Do you know, we have the self same problem in Poole. Antonio's sponsors and manager in this country at the Inn on the chase used to screen it all. But sky in their wisdom decided to price the small pub out of the market, by asking £600, yes, £600 per month for sky!. We used to get quite a gathering up ther for the GP's and World Cups, and the food was fantastic. But Skys money grabbing policy put an end to all that , which is a great shame. We now have knowhere in the Poole area that screen the GP's or the World Cup!!.
  19. Would have to agree with this, he's a nice lad, and, improving all the time!. Just my opinion of course!.
  20. I personally feel that we have a good chance. If we can get the result on Monday that takes us straight to the final. But, if i did have reservations it would probably be our strength in depth when we get to the final!!. But, im sure that Neil would be picking the team on a Horses for courses basis. I feel Poland again have an outstanding chance, but just feel, that this year its slightly more open than on previous years!!.
  21. Be Honest with you, Bridger would have been the last person i would have given the Captaincy to!!.
  22. Bring it to Poole, Gurranteed good racing good weather good location good attendance!!.
