Sadly, spot on.

He may not be everybodys cup of tea. But i would look at Ben Barker. Danny King is talented, but blows hot and cold, i would like to see him show a lot more consistancy in his league matches. Scott Nicholls Yes Tai Woffenden yes, Chris Harris needs to show he's up for it Eddie Kennett is capable of far better.

I really can't believe none of you Somerset fans have not started a thread, so it looks like a poole fan will have to start it for you. Tomorrow night see's the opening fixture of the 2012 season for the rebels against a quite fancied side to be in the running for honours in the EL this season in tthe Swindon Robins. This will give the Rebels a chance to blow a few cobwebs away under race conditions at home tomorrow night, but it will be a very hard ask to beat the Robins, but not out the question. Somerset have a guest in place to level things out a bit in the shape of our own Darcy Ward, and i would fully expect him to go unbeaten. Somerset have a very nice side this season with strength right through the side, it will be very interesting to see how the reserves in Tom and Kyle fair. All in all should be a very good nights racing. ignore this, put in wrong section by mistake, see PL League section.

Hmm, i was very intereseted to read this post, Rent, water would come with the rent, who owns the stadium? Electricity, gets thrown in does it? Public liabillity insurance will be an arm and a leg. And id be very sure the top boys will be on more than £40 a point.not to mention postponements then theres kickboards shale is not cheap chicken wire, fence posts and sundries i assume they have smash ups from time to time. Good job theres no airfences and rubbers to maintain, that might come one day!. sponsorship, that doesn't come to you, fuel for the tractors maintanence of the tractors graders etc, Besides, i don't think if the side thats been muted is true thats not a bad little line up! now i don't know this Mike Bowden, but why don't you offer to buy him out, after all, you could make yourself a nice little earner!!

BOB, WHATS GOING ON???

Good post. One thing i will say, and you touched on it. Jim suffered badly with his rib injury backend last season, and naturally it play on his mind. The fans and Management were superb to him last season at Somerset, but the injuries somewhat haulted him. Jim will not pull up tree's, but he will do ok for you. Jim is a very nice bloke, But as i said, he needs both the fans support and the support of your management .Also imo especially around Plymouth, jim has got to find that extra bit of aggression out the gate,he can sometimes be to nice And also, he must not be compared to his brother, because thats where the simularities end!!!

Read my post on page 15.

Good post mate. Jimmy is a good lad, but he also needs support and encouragement from both fans and management, the Somerset management looked after and encouraged jimmy well, as you know he was Captain of the Rebels. but If i had a fault with jimmy he's just that, to nice. Especially round Plymouth he's going to need to be a lot more aggresive out the starts, thats where i thought part of his problem at Somerset was. But he does have it in him. But bear in mind he was carrying injuries at the back end of the season, you have a fit jimmy, im not going to say he will pull up big tree's, but he will do ok for you. But he needs allround support. Jerran is suprising me, when he rode for our Buccaneer side at Poole i said give him 2 years and he'l be riding EL. Jerrans a good rider, but i can't believe he's not doing better than he's showing.

Come on you guys, give Jimmy a chance. Nothing went right for him for pretty much the season last year, capped it all by his rib injuries. Jimmys a nice lad and will score points for you, but he also needs your backing.
