  1. Congratulations to Mildenhall Fen Tigers NLKOC WINNERS 2011. Suffolk are proud of you all.Well done.
  2. For people who missed it, here it is: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00ksnwp go to 1.36.40
  3. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Ritchie as a Witch TBH, would love Kozza but as CS has said, he's had a brilliant season so may have done himself out of a spot (well with us ) suppose it really depends on what the team building average will be in 2012. Still seems really strange having Aussies,Danes and Brits instead of Poles One thing I would like for all teams in 2012 is less injuries, so many poor lads have suffered this year, right across the leagues.
  4. How strange that 2 people can hear the same broadcast but have different views . Do you know it didn't enter my head that he was referring to Kev and Morten!!!
  5. At last Danny seems to be stepping up to the plate, and is achieving some success with Birmingham, can't see him as a PL rider again, well not in the near future anyway. McGowan and Topinka , neither thanks all the same. Think CL's trying to get a decent asset base together for the Witches, so would only be loaning if absolutely necessary I should think. Although I have put Schrammy in my "wish" line up for next year, I fear that he may be too high an average to fit in should, Kev, Morten, Taylor, Mat all be included , as Schrammy is "what you see is what you get" but his over whelming strength is the input he gives in the pits, along with his Father, much missed since his injury, although TBF they have attended most meetings lately!!!
  6. where's the like button Doolan Risager Poole Tress Heeps/Blackbird Schramm ?? Lasse must be nailed on to ride, along side his brother, for his parent club at Peterborough next year.
  7. Junior he is a one off....fortunately!!! Most of us a decent fans.
  8. So 45 - 45 all, Cameron on a full max until a heat 15 tumble caused him to be replaced by Blackbird in the re-run. details taken from speedwayupdates.
  9. Ok here's Chris Louis on Radio Suffolk tonight: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00jg4v2 go to 1.37
  10. Lol CS, typical that I missed that broadcast , but will put it on when it's available later tonight.
  11. Wow fantastic win for the Tigers, and Heeps sounds as if he was awesome.
  12. Yes thank you for the link, am enjoying the commentary
  13. Any news on injury to Lasse Bjerre last night please?
  14. Can anyone tell me the line up for the world under 21 meeting in Croatia please, or at least point me in the direction of finding it..... many thanks
  15. Shouldn't be necessary though should it!!! One of the most successful teams tried NL last year - Poole - and didn't continue this year as it wasn't cost effective, well guys it's up to you the fans, if you want NL racing to survive, you have to go out and support it. Not an easy thing to do in the current climate I know, but these promoters are trying to kick start the British scene but financially it isn't balancing the books I'm sorry I haven't a clue as to the fan base at Newport, but as I said Poole, with their large fan base couldn't make it pay, mind it will be a real shame for this to happen if it does, through lack of support. Good luck Hornets
  16. Thanks for the info, I always have to record the GP and watch it about an hour behind, so forwarned is forearmed this time, many thanks
  17. Sounds like it was a really good meeting, well done Mildy!!!
  18. Chris Louis talking on Radio Suffolk tonight about Mildenhall: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00dc5vw/Stephen_Foster_08_02_2011 go to 1.37
  19. Wow that's wonderful news so pleased for all at Mildenhall, and I have to say very, very pleased with the link up with the Witches, at last a chance for some youngsters to get on. Fingers crossed in the court case too!!!
  20. And Jarek has his say: taken from Lovespeedway.com: Hampel hits out at Polish authorities Thursday, February 3, 2011 3:36 PM FORMER Ipswich star and world No.2 Jaroslaw Hampel says Polish Ekstraliga clubs are making a big mistake in restricting teams to just one Grand Prix rider in 2012. FORMER Ipswich star and world No.2 Jaroslaw Hampel says Polish Ekstraliga clubs are making a big mistake in restricting teams to just one Grand Prix rider in 2012. There are plans to expand the top flight from eight to ten sides next term and it is reported that every club will have to track four Poles. Should the new rules come into force, champions Leszno would have to choose between Hampel and Janusz Kolodziej if both men retain their places in the World Championship for next year. With five SGP regulars guaranteed to miss out on Ekstraliga team berths, Hampel has hit out at the changes. He said: “It’s unfair to my club, which has a plan, a long-term vision of the team. This may be meaningless now.” Hampel added: “I do not know what this rule is intended to do. Is it to make savings at the club? It’s not the way to do it. These are the riders fans are passionate about. “I believe that last season’s league was pretty balanced and unpredictable. Even if the 2012 season will see ten teams in the Ekstraliga, it means that the five Speedway Grand Prix riders will not be able to compete in it.” speedwaygp.com
  21. It's looking more and more likely that you are going EL, which is a big blow to us Witches fans who were really looking forward to some friendly rivalry and local derbies in the season ahead. I would like to wish you all, and your team all the best should it be confirmed tomorrow, because I'm sorry folks but you are going to need it!!! With 9 teams in the EL it was boring to say the least, weeks without meetings, teams with riders missing, and the blanket coverage of certain teams on the TV on Monday nights, made you feel like you had been watching those teams versus your team 9 or 10 times a season , so with one less this coming season OMG what fillers you will need Still you will hopefully have your NL team to ride the weeks you have no meetings, and obviously you will have the WTC. Good luck in the year ahead.
