  1. Fair play to David and Josh, thought they rode really well, sadly the rest of the team struggled, and poor Lemmo looked like he needed an oxygen tank after his last ride bless him. Glad Nicolai was OK, didn't realise he was riding injured. The Witches made hard work early on, with Gino spectacularly blowing up his engine whilst leading heat 3, never really recovered, and have to say he was a sad sight in the pits tonight, but he will bounce back. Thought it was clever that the lads kept it close until heat 11 to allow only the one black and white (lol) in heat 12, but once they got going it seemed Scunny ran out of steam. Have to just add, thought Josh Auty really knew how to work the track, and built up a lot of speed in his races, but Cameron bettered him in heat 14 WOW!!!
  2. A decent meeting I felt, and Sheffield kept us honest all the way. RH had a shocker, but tbh he has succeeded all expectations this season, so I feel was allowed that one. Was lovely to see Taylor Poole riding so well, loved him as a Witch but sadly we never really got to see the best of Tay riding for us due to his nasty injuries, so especially glad to see him riding so well.
  3. A word from the governor: http://www.lovespeedway24.co.uk/teams/ipswich-witches/messenger_heaps_praise_on_high_flying_witches_ahead_of_quick_fire_double_clash_with_sheffield_who_themselves_are_looking_to_continue_their_good_form_1_3746385

  8. Have we got Adam?? The pesky 'Ammers are at Leicester on Saturday.
  9. Definitely no meeting at home next week I'm afraid, next up Worky on 21st.
  10. Unless my eyes deceive me, we have a new No 1 for Thursday against Rye: http://www.ipswichwitches.co/index.php/news-centre/858-revamped-rockets-coming-to-foxhall-
  11. Just to let you know Paul, the Garden Bar is shut, so you may need to stand between bends 1 & 2, nearer Di's Diner, but first you MUST come see me, Lesley and Hays!!
  12. Truly Mr Nice Guy and loved by the fans of every club he has ridden for. Good luck Schrammy, will miss you and your chest!! but enjoy your "new" life with your lovely family.
  13. Sorry Redcar fans, but this makes lovely reading for us Witches fans: http://www.lovespeedway24.co.uk/teams/ipswich-witches/solid_witches_see_off_redcar_as_they_shoot_to_the_top_of_the_table_next_up_for_louis_side_newcastle_on_sunday_1_3613745
  14. Wahooo well done the lads, 40 - 50 to the Witches!!!
  15. We are very fortunate at Ipswich we always have 2 ambulances, and tbh we normally have 2/3 paramedics, however we only had 1 today, but Jason is brilliant.
  16. It's deceptive now Cookie, as several people sit in the stands, making the terracing look emptier. Does anyone know how many more meetings we have to have without Adam? Costing us dearly him being missing so much. Pity he couldn't have done both meetings today really. Sorry editted to add Glad to hear Schrammy not as bad as feared, and thanks to Tom Perry for guesting, and wish him a speedy recovery.

  19. By Cam's own admission, he has done nothing since last season, just 5 weeks on from surgery so he was always going to be "behind" the others who have had track time already. No need to panic I think, a marathon not a sprint,he'll come good, we know just how good he can be. Was very impressed with Rohan (obviously) but also the testimonial boy himself Morten. Thought he rode really well, confidently and more than enough speed, using different parts of the track!! So, after moaning about the fact that the season is upon us already, I'm really looking forward to the start proper now and seeing this young team go from strength to strength during the course of the season, right up to the finale in October. So a safe and successful season to all our young Witches, and their opponents, throughout this 2014 season. Bring it on.
