If Not Darcy Then Who?
full-throttle replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Back on topic. Darcy could earn £thousands per week in Poland, so is it surprising he is considering sitting out the GP for another year. A year to get more track time, and get a team ready for his assault on the WC in 2013. -

full-throttle replied to BigFatDave's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
just needed to put on record my CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Harris. finshing the season as world #6 is well beyond most peoples expectations. I was pretty critical about Chris' application after his disaster at the GP Challenge in Vojens, yet fair play he has turned his season around with some great results. I was wrong Chris, you deserve and have earnt a GP place next season, WELL DONE -

well done and congratulations to Tomasz, withour a doubt the best rider this year. special mention to Bomber, a truely gritty performance tonight, should be safe for 2010 now. -
Thought I would post on here for the Heathens fans. Tom Perry was today crowned 'International Poacher Champion 2010'. Superb last bend saw Perry go round Jamie Rodgers to clinch the title. Perry also beat in the final David Howe and Theo Pjiper both established grasstrack and speedway riders

Final Gp, From Germany
full-throttle replied to Steve Turner's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
not long back myself, it's a bloody long drive...made worse by constant congestion on the English roads.... was happy to find my 'standing' tickets were actually seats. stadium was tidy although i guess the individual searches upset a few, by turning up later the queues had all but dissappeared. found the atmosphere a bit flat, maybe due to the small number in a large stadium. impressed with the presentation of the meeting, much better than cardiff IMO, the acoustics sounded better to. the racing was ok, not brilliant but as expected for a man made track. the incident in the race off hapened almost right in front of me and i was amazed the referee never stopped the race. congratulations to AJ on his win and also to Nicki Pedersen for his dominance of this years series.. -
Scott Nicholls
full-throttle replied to sicknote's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I saw Nicholls walk to Harris' pit bay, but I noticed he didn't stay long. I guessed he'd been told by the pit crew he wasn't welcome, but being on the second bend I couldn't see fully into the pit bay. Thanks Rob for clearing up the incident -
