  1. harris @50.s ew, should have waited he's now quoted at 66/1
  2. Krasnikov got beat more than once in a weekend, that's unusual. I guess at least it makes the championship a little tighter
  3. Coventry Speedway are hoping (subject to interest) to take a coach to Berwicj for the qualifiers, anyone who is interested needs to make themselves known at the kiosk in speed square
  4. for the NZ GP here are the choice from me Chris Harris Bjarne Pedersen Nicki Pedersen Hans Andersen
  5. Back on topic. Darcy could earn £thousands per week in Poland, so is it surprising he is considering sitting out the GP for another year. A year to get more track time, and get a team ready for his assault on the WC in 2013.
  6. not surprising with the last two individual WF's being held at Bradford's Odsal
  7. Wishing all our friends a safe and enjoyable trip to Assen this weekend, wish we could be there too.
  8. just needed to put on record my CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Harris. finshing the season as world #6 is well beyond most peoples expectations. I was pretty critical about Chris' application after his disaster at the GP Challenge in Vojens, yet fair play he has turned his season around with some great results. I was wrong Chris, you deserve and have earnt a GP place next season, WELL DONE
  9. Fair enough, but still don't think he should get anymore than jacket 19. Didn't qualify, run-off or not
  10. Nicki is a certainty, 3 world titles and a season plaguued by injuries Emil will be in, a season ruined by injury I fancy Jonsson will get in after tonights showing. plus maybe 1 Brit. (applications on a postcard)
  11. well done and congratulations to Tomasz, withour a doubt the best rider this year. special mention to Bomber, a truely gritty performance tonight, should be safe for 2010 now.
  12. Thought I would post on here for the Heathens fans. Tom Perry was today crowned 'International Poacher Champion 2010'. Superb last bend saw Perry go round Jamie Rodgers to clinch the title. Perry also beat in the final David Howe and Theo Pjiper both established grasstrack and speedway riders

  22. not long back myself, it's a bloody long drive...made worse by constant congestion on the English roads.... was happy to find my 'standing' tickets were actually seats. stadium was tidy although i guess the individual searches upset a few, by turning up later the queues had all but dissappeared. found the atmosphere a bit flat, maybe due to the small number in a large stadium. impressed with the presentation of the meeting, much better than cardiff IMO, the acoustics sounded better to. the racing was ok, not brilliant but as expected for a man made track. the incident in the race off hapened almost right in front of me and i was amazed the referee never stopped the race. congratulations to AJ on his win and also to Nicki Pedersen for his dominance of this years series..
  23. I saw Nicholls walk to Harris' pit bay, but I noticed he didn't stay long. I guessed he'd been told by the pit crew he wasn't welcome, but being on the second bend I couldn't see fully into the pit bay. Thanks Rob for clearing up the incident
