  1. Can these premiership matches be played on demand after the live event? And if so for how long? Just curious, if im at Sheffield when they streaming another meeting the same night can i watch it over the weekend after etc?
  2. Ellis isnt UK based, flies in and out for every meeting from his home in France
  3. So options are Fri 21st - Tomorrow daytime, to soon?? plus dogs run at night Sat 22nd - Lunchtime? Giving riders opportunity to get to Leicester after and avoid clash with Sheff Utd, well getting to Owlerton at least Sun 23rd - Stock cars from midday Mon 24th - Sheffield v Ipswich and Kings Lynn v Belle Vue. Cancel 2 meetings to run one? Tues 25th - Pairs at Leicester Wed 26th - Outdoor cinema at Owlerton Thurs 27th - Outdoor cinema at Owlerton plus Pairs at Belle Vue Fri 28th - Daytime? as dogs run at night Sat 29th - Sheff Wed at home and dogs run at night Sun 30th - Stock cars at midday Mon 31st - Nothing scheduled for ether team So 31st it has to be unless it’s ridden away from Sheffield although given that Sheffield and Kings Lynn are still involved in 4 meetings in the next 11 days and Poole and Leicester also have 4 meetings there’s potentially going to be a big clash on that date if there are any postponements which given it’s the end of October that’s almost guaranteed
  4. Bet365 have this priced up much closer than I did so will definitely be taking Kings Lynn at -2 and also off scratch for heat 8 Holder over 7 and also to outscore Lawson are 2 other bets, along with Klindt at +1 over Musielak and Pickering to outscore Ellis
  5. Firstly it was a great advert for speedway over the two legs that everything that is required, hard fast racing by 2 evenly matched teams. With the scoreline finishing so close though focus will always fall on the refereeing decisions as it will always be felt that the title wasnt truly decided on the track as it should be. With Heat 1 I agree Kurtz was the primary cause of the stoppage, but given that it was heat one, the move happened on bend 2 I dont think anyone at all would have objected to all 4 back, given first race of a final tension and all that. Heat 3 irrespective of who anyone thought was at fault or not this should have been all 4 back Had the ref chose to put all 4 back in heats 1 and 3 then there would have been not talk of poor refereeing decisions cos the ref wouldnt have actually made a decision, just gave the riders the opportunity to race. With heat 11, yes a decision had to be made, and yes in my opinion Tobiasz had to go. Brady new exactly what he was doing and gambled that once he hit the deck he would get the decision. I cant recall which GP it was but one of the final two roundsand it involved Patryk Dudek with an exact similar move on bend 3.....in that case the rider that hit the deck was excluded, assumption being although there was contact, the other rider was in front....Just as Tobiasz was, so all a matter of opinions.
  6. Kurtz, Zagar and Lambert are going to have to be pretty much unbeaten tonight to prevent Sheffield winning by 12 tonight, whilst this is possible for Lambert on recent showings not sure Kurtz and Zagar can hold off Holder, Musielak or Ellis every single time and they will have very little back up. Musielak over Kurtz and Kerr -1 over Brennan, also bets Holder over 9 and Musielak over 8 also worth betting on as well as the gamble on Lambert under 1, at 12/5 thats too big, admittedly could be blown if there is a fall/engine failure, but worth the risk Was thinking of backing Sheffield to win the league, but they could end up winning tonight by 12 and then in a golden heat anything could happen, so taken the safer route of Sheffield -10
  7. Yes that was the rule till Health and Safety kicked, once they banned riders from cutting across the centre green or nipping the wrong way around the tapes to the start the rule was changed to just being on the track under power etc
  8. No, the beat the 2 mins all you have to do is actually be on the track, not actually at the tapes. Riders then eventually get to the tapes and start gardening, many times the green lights arent coming on till minutes after the 2 mins ended.
  9. Simple solution to end the gardening.....2 mins goes on for every single race at the end of the 2mins the green light goes on, if you not ready excluded. If you want to garden then get to the tapes in plenty of time
  10. Absolutely !!! No way are Belle Vue not hitting 55 points tonight, barring engine failures Belle Vue's top 3 will be scoring 37-40 points alone. Also adding in the -4 for for Belle Vue at heat 8, in my opinion they will be 10 points+ ahead at that stage of the meeting. Lambert at even money at -3 over Holder is a stand out bet as well, should be unbeaten and with this being the first leg then Heat 15 is guaranteed for Lambert, Holder will have had an exceptional evening if he gets double figures Kurtz -1 over Musielak, Zagar -2 over Ellis, Etheridge over Sedgman are also bets, as well as assuming Tom has fully recovered from his knock last week he should outscore Kerr as well In the total points market, Ellis under 9, Sedgman under 4, Kerr under 5, Musielak under 9 Kurtz Over 8, Wright over 5, Holder over 7, Etheridge over 2, Zagar over 10, Lambert over 12. For reference, Sheffields averages at the NSS this season are as follows, Holder 8.80, Kerr 4.00, Ellis 5.75, Howarth 4.00, Musielak 5.00, Sedgman 1.33, Mountain 3.33 Total 32.22
  11. Bet365 again seem pretty much on the money in my opinion as I think it will be a 50-40 home victory. Although wolves are averaging around 43 points at Owlerton this season just think the Sheffield riders are hitting more form recently whereas Wolves, particularly Douglas (No double figure score since July) are dropping off. Although having said that I think Ryan over 5 is a bet for me tonight. The other bets I see are both the tigers reserves to be outscoring their wolves counterparts.....barring falls exclusions and EF's the wolves airing only get 1 point between them tonight
  12. A few bets im prepared to waste my cash on tonight Belle Vue v Ipswich With the tie more or less over, Tom Brennan nursing a few knocks from yesterdays spill and possibility of Lambert not fully up to speed I fancy Ipswich to keep the score well within 16 points, also think they will be able to keep the first 8 heats within 10 points also Doyle over 11 as I dont see him being majorly troubled tonight, even meeting Lambert possibly 3 times I dont see him losing all 3 battles with him, so will also be backing Doyle over Lambert as well......no real odds but just to get a few pence back also backing Lambert under 13. Also hoping Tungate is out to make up for his disastrous night on Thursday and put in a good performance hence taking him at +2 over Zagar King over 5 is my only other play in this meeting Wolves v Sheffield Think 365 have the score prediction pretty much spot on so hoping that the usual suspects put in their usual performances Masters Over 10 & Holder under 8 Becker -2 Over Holder, Howarth +1 over Douglas, Mountain +1 over Flint and Sedgman -1 Over Kemp
  13. Agreed that Bet365, appear to be pretty much inline with what i was predicting across all markets, only are I believe they are wrong and therefore i will be backing it is Tungate over 7
  14. Then yes im gambling on him getting 6 rides, will be 6 points down after heat 8 so heat 9, 12 or 14 should see Tobias out for his tactical ride
  15. Are tacticals not allowed in the Play offs?
  16. Wolves at -6 tonight is a bet for me. Potentially dodgy decision given the fitness fears of Morris and a bit of rain around making track different to normal, but still feel Wolves will run out winners by 10-12 points. Masters, Morris and Douglas will match the scoring of Musielak, Ellis and Howarth but Worrall and Becker will easily outscore Holder and Kerr. Backing Musielak over 11 and 13, feel from his 6 rides he should finishing a minimum of second each race and should get home in front a couple of times at least Also backing Holder under 8 and under 10, the under 10 should be easy, but at odds of 1/2 its hardly going to break the bank, as he has only scored 6, 4 and 7 on his previous 3 visits this year and was pretty abysmal in the pairs both bets should have a reasonable chance. With the above in mind Becker -2 over Holder is also a bet Masters over 10 should land in my opinion from his 5 rides, even if he does follow Worrall home in a couple of heats Flint -1 over Mountain, Leon is in good form and just feel he will end up with 5 rides, replacing Kemp in at least 1 race and should outscore Connor
  17. Sheffield cannot meet Ipswich in the play offs, a win tonight would take Sheffield top of the table and therefore mean they meet Wolves in the play offs, a defeat tonight means they would meet Belle Vue again in the play offs. As Sheffield have 5 home fixtures, 6 if tonights match is postponed, to arrange in the final 5 weeks of the season why are they not announcing the first leg of the League cup final against Kings Lynn for next Thursday? As Sheffield will not be involved in the play offs next Thursday regardless of who they meet and Kings Lynn also have no meeting?
  18. With the absence of Ryan Douglas I dont see how Wolves get to 36 points this morning, so fully believe that Belle Vue will win by more than the current handicap on offer at Bet 365 Norrick at -5 over Drew Kemp is also a bet, as apart from Drew potentially beating Leon in heat 2 I dont see where he gets another point if all 4 riders finish each race I know Luke Becker has been in a bit of form lately but his scores this year at the NSS havent been great and I dont see him getting over 10 points, admittedly he could have 7 rides and if he does get a Tac Sub ride and Heat 15 he will have had a good meeting, but at 5/4 I think its worth the gamble that he wont have 7 rides. In the same vain I think its worth the bet on Brady at +1 over Luke Zagar over 9 is also a bet for me, should race to a full maximum in my opinion
  19. Well the only date available for a double header would be the 22nd Sept, as I presume this Thursday is too soon to rearrange the fixture, and on the 15th Sept Belle Vue are already riding at Peterboro Alternatives are move the play offs to starting the 29th September, race the meeting on a sunday afternoon depending on rider availability with regards the Polish Play offs, or cancel the pairs at Belle Vue and stage the fixture on the 12th September
  20. Sure last weeks earlier call off was due to riders etc travelling from Ipswich and also to prevent the TV crew from setting up, this week as its Belle Vue they can leave it till 4pm. There is also the fact that they are now getting to the stage of the season where they are going to have to ride in pretty much any conditions, given the fact they have so far crammed 8 home meetings into the first 22 weeks of the season and are now faced with 6 definite home fixtures and possibly 8 with the Play off semi and final in the last 9 weeks of the season
  21. Can anyone shed any light on why Justin is getting so many rides for Sheffield just lately when is performances and scores clearly dont warrant it? 6 Rides at home at Kings Lynn and brought in as a reserve replacement for Connor at Wolves, in both meetings Connor was riding so much better. Or is it a plan to get his average so far down that he becomes a steal for next season
  22. Wasnt the interesting extra content only stated for the sale of watching the GP's on the Discovery App where there are no ad breaks? Although if it was mentioned as being part of Eurosports British Speedway coverage, in order to have extra interesting content, you would require something interesting to happen through the meeting for them to discuss. I know the sport is at the mercy of the weather and that is beyond Eurosprts control but seems every meeting they go to recently the track is in an absolutely shocking state. Obviously the poor track on Monday lead to a much closer meeting but at times it was like watching novices ride around, a good track would have produced better racing but inevitably would have lead to a very easy win for the Wolves. With regards an "extra" content, sadly I have to say you would require someone better than Sam to deliver it, interviews or interviews with riders about technical aspects of the bike or track should always be conducted by Brando, a consummate professional with regards interviews and has enough knowledge and interest in speedway to ask pertinent questions. Abi is a bright cheerful presenter but is no more than that and only really has to fulfil 15 mins at the start and a minute or two after each ad break. Whilst I think Kelvin has done an excellent job as main commentator I still feel he would be better suited as co commentator to Dave Rowe, may not have the same spark as him and Nigel, but Kelvin is excellent at providing insight whilst he is still learning as main commentator. The addition this year of various co commentators from current riders though has been great I feel, with both Josh Pickering and Steve Worral being excellent in the job so far
  23. A few bets i like tonight, although its all pretty much based on Tobiasz having a good night with little back up from the rest of the Tigers Bet 365 have the handicap of -8 about right as i expect a 49-41/50-40 home win so wont be touching that Fully expect Tobiasz to have 7 rides, with RR Tac Sub and Heat 15 so over 12 should be a steal from 7 outings Nick Morris -1 over Holder, Holder makes no secret he doesnt like the tight Monmore circuit and even with 5 rides I dont see him scoring many more than 6-7 points, Morris should be getting 8 minimum Connor Mountain +2 over Flint, Connor riding much better lately and if he gets his gating gloves on he should be avoiding last place in all his outings, as well as possible picking up an extra reserve ride or RR, as can see Kerr and Sedgman struggling Howarth +2 over Douglas, purely based on the fact Kyle should pick up 6 rides with RR and Heat 15 Ryan Douglas over 7, although this does depend on him occasionally getting in front of Becker Holder Under 7 and Kerr under 5
