  1. Is there any commentary on the discovery + app through Sky Q??? As I have just bike noise?
  2. 365 have priced this up very early, guess no issues with riders flying in and nothing untoward with the forecast. Was surprised to see Belle Vue at +12, whilst I do think Sheffield will win the meeting it could well be a last heat decider for the aggregate win and i dont see Belle Vue failing to score 40 points. Brady is on great form this season, his only real blip was Leicester away and done way too many maps around Sheffield in his career to not be hitting double figures and would have thought he is nailed on for heat 15, so definitely a bet at over 9. Kyle has looked in great form in either league so far this season, where as Norrick has shown if he hits the front he is hard to catch and with Sheffield tending to be agates track more and more these days, certainly expect to cover the +2 handicap, both should get about 5 points each As Im backing Brady to score at least 10 then he should cover the +3 handicap over Jack. Whilst Sheffield might require Jack to hot a 15 point max to progress to the next round I cant see him going unbeaten, particularly with the GP coming up this weekend, he may not risk everything
  3. Difficult meeting to call this and all depends on how well Fricke and Becker go at a track that i dont think either has ridden before. I think Oxford will win the meeting and should cover the -2 handicap as well, Tungate is in good form, Riss Bomber and Charles should be getting 20 points between them and hopefully after a good weekend on the continent Mgic can put in a decent performance. Cookie started his Oxford career well and generally did well at Oxford on his visits last season so Oxford should be getting 48/49 points Masters on his own track should be getting over 9, would be amazed if he isnt getting heat 15 and possibly a tac sub ride also Tungate should also get 5 rides and should also be hitting double figures Also at 4/6 a large saving bet on Oxford just winning the meeting
  4. Tempted by the price of even money for the Brummies at +12, a track more to the liking of the Poles and Milik at reserve and also Brennans former tack Also a good price, 29/20, for Bewley under 11, no guarantees of heat 15 and only needs one slip up in his other 3 rides to land the bet Brennan over 7 and Lampart over 6, both have the possibility of Heat 15 and one or the other could get a tac sub ride so potentially 6 rides each Above picks are based more on the price than them actually being certainties, but with them all being even money or greater, hopefully at least 2 come in and its profit
  5. Also couldnt believe that Belle Vue have been offered at -4, so definitely backing that as i dont see how Birmingham hit 40 points tonight. Birmingham may make a reasonable start as its been a few years since Dan and Brady rode their and Im not aware that Jaimon or Norrick ever have, but in the end the Aces will run out comfortable winners Other 2 bets tonight are Ben Cook over 6 and Tom Brennan over 8. Tom the only Brummie to show any sort of form this season and should get 5 rides possibly 6 Ben has made an ok start to the season but has always gone well at Perry Barr for Poole and the below par opposition tonight should see Ben getting close to double figures
  6. Leicester -12, don’t see Birmingham getting over 36 points tonight Pawlicki under 10, even if he takes to the track it will still take him a couple of rides and even then don’t see him beating Fricke, Lawson or Douglas Brennan over 7, in reasonable form and a possibility of 6 rides Douglas over Pawlicki, form and track knowledge should see Ryan easily win this Becker -2 over Milik, most of Leicesters top 5 should finish ahead Milik as well as Worrall beating him all their heats also Doyle over 11, apart from Emil and Woffy no one else will be finishing ahead of him and as it’s the first leg he should get 5 rides despite the upcoming GP Woffy also over 11, expect him to get 6 rides Nicholls under 10, I’d expect only 4 rides and the possibility of Magic, Tobiasz and Cook all finishing ahead of him most of the evening Cook over 8, apart from Cook and Tobiasz I don’t see who else gets heat 15 plus a tac sub ride he should be getting double figures from 6 rides Wright over NKI, even with 5 rides don’t see Niels outscoring Charles
  7. I dont see Ipswich getting close to the Aces tonight so certainly taking the Aces at -10.....in my opinion will be a 16-18pt home win. Also backing the Aces at heat 8 at -6 as i dont see how the Witches keep the early heats close As there is no way of knowing who will take a tac sub ride or come out in Heat 15 most to the rider score markets are a mute point i think, but having both Lidsey and Douglas to score over 8 Also backing Blodorn at -2 over Ellis, Norrick has shown some fine early form at the NSS scoring 9 in both meetings, dont see Adam scoring 7
  8. Sheffield v Kings Lynn Howarth -2 over MPT, Kyle should be good for 7 and even with 5 rides I dont see MPT getting over 5 considering the other riders hes up against Musielak over 10, expect him to have 6 rides therefore should be getting at least second in most heats with the occasional win...ideally in as a tac sub in heat 8 Brennan over 6, five rides guaranteed and started the season in reasonable form and should have the beating of MPT in most races along with the sheffield reserves Ipswich v Oxford Emil over 11....apart from EF and Doyley dont see anyone else that can beat him around foxhole tonight.....cue a masterclass from Tungate now Tungate over 7, potentially 5 rides and in good form Emil -2 over Bomber, dont really see bOmber hitting double figures Leicester v Belle Vue Hoping Leicester do open up a reasonable lead and Dan gets six rides, which should see him score over 10....although i do think this meeting will be a last heat decider
  9. Whats the stream like? Considering but curious of the quality? Is it something on par with BSN or is it just one camera? No too bothered about the interviews or commentary more do you get a good view of the action as considering a purchase of tonights stream Thanks
  10. Just two punts for me tonight as still concerned about lack of early season form in some riders. Fricke, Douglas and Becker all capable of good scores around the NSS, but cant be guaranteed. No guarantees Bewley will have found the answer yet and a lot depends on Norrick i think, will he get 8 or 3? With those unknowns i cant touch the handicap result, obviously Belle Vue will win as with Sheffield, Leicester are another team turning up with very poor reserves in my opinion. As a result, Fricke over 11, fully expect him to have 6 rides and Becker over 6, should have the beating of all the reserves he's up against, probably will finish ahead of Masters in most heats and possibly could win heat 14, certainly should be second at worse and could see him get heat 15 also
  11. Only punt for me tonight his Douglas over 6, shown a liking for the track last year scoring paid 13 and paid 9 on his 2 visits. Admittedly this year he is at the slightly tougher number 5 position, therefore meeting Doyley and Emil in 3 of his 4 rides, but also facing the Thompson Twins, Jenkins and Drew Kemp but hopefully he can win heat 9 and also may get an outing in Heat 15 The rest of the lines 365 have listed look too close to call, given the fact that the meeting as a competition will be over before Heat 15, so no guarantees Emil and Doyley will even go in that race which could alter the handicap and other riders totals massively
  12. Well i got bored with the live chat on Bet 365 and gave up questioning the actual bet, but did write them a mail querying why the governing body of the sport had an official website with official results on it yet they choose to use a different site. A manager did respond this morning and stated they do in fact use the BSPA website, although they reserve the right to use another site if they deem the official site contains incorrect information. The 2 back up sites they use are the Speedway Updates site and Sportowefakty, both of who listed Charles as scoring 10+3 in the above case, which they deemed to be the correct score. He also stated as gesture of goodwill they would void the bet and refund my stake Personally I thought Sportowefakty just ripped the results from the updates site anyway?
  13. Interesting that they prepared to run this meeting the same night that Wednesday are at home.....good luck getting parked
  14. Just spent the last 48 hours arguing with Bet365 over the settlement of one of my bets from Monday, Charles Wright over 10. According to the Official British Speedway site Charles scored 11+2, I know a few other sites reported that Charles scored 10+3, but assumed 365 went from official sources. After 30 mins on live chat to be told i would have to wait for management to review this, an hour later got an email stating the result had been settled correctly as a loss and the source they quoted for their official result, is the Updates site !!!! As I wasnt at the meeting I have no real clue which score is correct, and dont really care about that particular outcome, but was just shocked at 365 taking the speedway updates site as their official source
  15. Not exactly sure what 365 see in Ipswich that i dont, but offering Leicester at home +4 is a steal in my opinion, as i reckon Leicester will win the meeting by 8 points, so just backing the straight Leicester win is offered at 13/8 Some doubts over Emil's fitness so taking him on to score under 11 Lawson at -1 to outscore Ellis , Richards started the season in fine form for both Leicester and Poole and is more than capable of being selected tonight for heat 15 as well Other bets, Doyle over 11 and Douglas over 6, Leicester at +2 after 8 heats also Birmingham Oxford will be close and as we having to guess who takes which RR rides and in which heats makes it a tough call. But the standout bets for me are Brennan over 6 and also Brennan +2 over Klindt. In the hope that Charles has 6 rides, backing him to score over 10 Strange that 365 have Birmingham at -2 on the handicap for the meeting, yet they have them at +2 after 8 heats, given the fact that I dont recall Tungate ever visiting Perry Barr and could be a few years since Klindt has graced the circuit, I doubt Oxford will be in front early on so happily to back the Brummies at +2 after 8 heats
  16. A few plays for the lunchtime meeting, although with little form to go on they more guesses than anything. 2 evenly matched teams except for the reserve berths and with the reserves being ion 4 of the first 8 heats, can see BV setting off into an early lead that the Tigers will struggle to pull back given a lack of tactical options in the cup, so backing BV at -4 after 8 heats Tai over the years has shown a liking for the NSS and pretty certain he will be getting 5 rides so backing him to score over 10 and also to outscore Dan Bewley. Going purely on what i saw in the Peter Craven meeting think Ben Cook will outscore Josh Pickering and think Jaimon will score over 8 Purely based on the price of 9/5 backing Dan to score under 10, hoping that Jack and Tai will do a number on him in heats 13 and 15
  17. I thought Heat 8 was a protected race with no changes allowed? Or has that rule now changed
  18. In my opinion 365 have got this pretty much nailed on, as i also see a 52-38 home win, also see the Witches being up 27-21 at heat 8. As for the points market, they also too close to call, as no one can predict out of Emil and Doyley who will finish first or second in heat 13, the same in Heat 15 even if both of them are in it as i also expect Danny King to go pretty much unbeaten, barring EF So with that in mind backing King at over 10, mainly tempted by the 29/20 that they are offering and a possibility of heat 15 Also backing Danny to outscore Scott, ok Scott may get 6 rides and Danny 4, but dont see Scott beating any of the 3 Witches heat leaders and even if he does have 6 rides, I only see him finishing third at best in heats 13 and 15 Tempted by Rew over Lampart. will the Pole take to the Foxhall circuit?, can Rew actually get a reasonable score for once? Ipswich must see something in him that I dont, so with the expectation they must think he will come good one day, ill take the gamble that he can get 2 points tonight as hopefully Lampart doesnt trouble the scorers
  19. A few thoughts on tonight meetings, obviously with no form to go on so far stakes will be at a minimum Leicester v Kings Lynn Think this is the easiest of the 3 meetings tonight to call and think Leicester will easily run out winners, i think by 12-14 points. The Lions retaining 4 riders who all go well plus the addition of the 3 ex wolves who in Masters and Douglas appear to love the track they should easily be hitting 50 odd points. For the Stars, Musielak has only visited once recently but shown he can get double figures, Niels also has shown good speed around their at times and appeared to be on the gas at Belle Vue monday, but the rest are not only hit and miss on their day they also hardly shown anything inspiring around Leicester in recent times. So Leicester should overcome the -4 handicap and should be ahead at heat 8. Musielak over 9, as i expect him to have 6 rides, and Masters over 8. Think Lawson at +1 over NKI is also a play. Oxford v Sheffield Think the fact that Oxford have had a meeting already and the fact the Sheffield heat leaders have never ridden the track means Oxford will probably get off to an early lead, that the Tigers may just fail to pull back, also think Tungate and Klindt will fair a little better than last week and sure Lewis will be eager to put one over many of his former team mates. It could well be a case that Sheffield require to use a tactical early on but could be down to a last heat decider so no play on the overall meeting result, but will take Oxford at -2 at Heat 8. Only other bet is for Klindt to outscore pickering Ipswich v Belle Vue With the absence of Doyley I dont see how Ipswich can with this, unless Rew and Ellis have improved dramatically on last seasons performances. Emil and Danny King will keep it close, but have a feeling Emil will need to be hitting 18 points. As Bet 365 have generously, IMHO, given BV a 4 pt start i'll certainly be backing that along with BV being ahead with a 4pt handicap at heat 8 also. In the expectation of Emil having 6 rides I've backed him to cover the -2 handicap over Brady and the the +1 for Bewley over Scotty looks a gift. Also on the assumption Adam Ellis hasn't massively improved on last season I'll back him to score under 6. He scored 7 on both visits last year, consistently finishing ahead of Bellego, an Ipswich reserve and anyone else who fell off
  20. A few blind darts to add a bit more interest whilst watching on the tv tonight Wojdylo to outscore Norrick Lambert to outscore Bewley NKI Under 8 Magic over 8 Jaimon over 9 Bomber over 7
  21. The way the press release reads it pretty much states that Sheffield had to redeclare their team Monday night....as in before the end of July? So does this mean the signing of Woffinden couldn't take place in August?
  22. Again a lottery at guessing when the reserves will be used, but the main stand out bets for me tonight are :- Lidsey over 4, Lidsey +1 over Michelsen, Australia over 27 and Australia off scratch over GB
  23. Only bet for me tonight is Lidsey -3 over Kvech, cant imaging Lidsey being pulled from any of his rides and whilst Kvech may well end up with 5 rides due to getting a tactical, I feel he will lose his gate 1 ride to Milik and cant realistically seeing him scoring more than 6, whereas Jaimon should be hitting double figures from his rides. Australia will win the meeting with Sweden second and the Czechs just edging France, but with the H'caps that 365 have put up along with the total lottery of guessing when Berge, Lindgren, and Milik will take their rides, although i suspect its every time those relative countries have gate 1, I dont see any other real value in tonights meeting from a betting perspective.
  24. Yes I did, as only had Hans down for 2 points anyway
  25. Just cant see the Stars winning by 10 points tonight to cover the H'cap of -8. Breum making his debut, Schlein just back from injury, Jorgensen hit and miss and Klindt's scores are always track dependant, just dont see where they get 50 points from? Whereas NKI, Worrall, Basso, Cook and Tarasenko more than capable of averaging 8 each between them, add in a couple from reserve and they take the meeting with the +8 Cook to outscore Breum, Cook 9 points on his last visit and his form has improved since then, Breum on debut would have to be exceptionally impressive to outscore him I feel, Even Artem only got paid 10 from 18 on his debut Iversen under 9, Averaging just over 6 points away from home and only scored double figures in 3 of his 10 away fixtures this season
