Grand Prix Challenge 2017
Welwyn replied to STEPHEN 333's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Looking at that list and the possibility of at least 3 of those being in the GP top 8 anyway, a real chance for Cookie there. Also really want him to win on Monday now as that experience in Cardiff would do him good. -

I'm hearing rumours of Rye making a team change for Saturday. -
Test Cricket is now the best thing on Sky.

Certainly a positive

Certainly the only 2pter I'd have wanted is Shanes (gone now) & JPB. Obviously I can't see Zach not being part of Somerset next year. So certainly for me it's between, Danyon, Ellis, JPB and Castagna (purely because it'd remind me of watching his dad when I was a mere kid!)

We have 3.05 which makes me wonder if we had the 1-6 pencilled in before the AGM and we are just getting a 2 pointer as other than two pointers, only the guys on a flat three fit. Bukhave Jacob Redcar 3.00 Castagna Michele Ipswich 3.00 Etheridge Jye Edinburgh/Redcar 3.00 Holub Zdenek Scunthorpe/Peterborough 3.00 Stachrya Dawid Berwick 3.00 ( Con Bailey Josh Scunthorpe 3.00 Greaves Nathan Sheffield 3.00 Greenwood Oliver Ipswich 3.00 Halsey Dan Peterborough 3.00 Hume Danyon Ipswich 3.00 Payne Lee Redcar 3.00 Perks Ellis Plymouth 3.00 Phillips Danny Newcastle 3.00 Ritchings Darryl Ipswich 3.00 Stokes Tom Peterborough 3.00 Wajtknecht Zach Somerset 3.00 If I am reading the averages right on the PDF from the BSPA website.

Interesting that there was no line about when the last member will be announced. Guessing we'll have to wait a while for number 7 then.

I don't think we are THAT strong. Kennett could end up averaging about 7 and if Robbo & Watt fall off a cliff (entirely plausable) we are struggling.

Tai really should pull out of the World Cup & rest that shoulder. Doubt he will though. -

Think Lyon's looking at Harris in for Stead for the Joker in 17 -
Sports Cafe on the Haymarket will be showing the WC Final on Saturday night. Wondered if any London based fans would be going down there to watch it?

Is it true that Lee Richardson will now be missing and replaced by Andy Smith -
I think there are two sites that have been mentioned in the Luton area as well, by the airport as part of the Junction 10a Football Stadium that is now not going to happen as the airport is extending and the other was the quarry site halfway between Luton and Leighton Buzzard, however, that is by a couple of villages. The only problem with a Luton site is that there was no track there in the past. So you're counting on getting the old Milton Keynes crowd down the M1 and getting some of the fans from Bedfordshire who feel that Rye House is a bit of a difficult journey (it is quite a hike). Certainly wouldn't have any problems in terms of being to close to neighbouring tracks though.
