Apparently the reserve can only take as many rides as one of the main riders. Meaning Lambert could only take 5 rides and not 1 in the first 4 heats. Still disagree with the decision, but makes more sense now.

I was next to Chapman in the queue for a pie after Heat 4 and asked him why Bewley wasn't riding and he said he didn't know. Which frankly made him look not very good at his job! So I don't know why he would use that as a lie about it.

I don't think we are THAT strong. Kennett could end up averaging about 7 and if Robbo & Watt fall off a cliff (entirely plausable) we are struggling.
