  1. No thread? Well I am looking forward to Ty Proctor's return, should be a good meeting.
  2. Keeping Mitchell would have meant dropping Max, along with Wilko giving us over 6 to play with - but would be harsh on Max although totally agree on Wilko - but not going to happen.
  3. Mitchell did very well for us and can take a lot of credit from his spell, a number of us would have been happy for him to stay.
  4. I have seen Olly Allen more than that, albeit only time in Rye colours.
  5. Allen looked okay - similar to Stead last week, he gated fine - if not then nothing. I was a bit disappointed in him but more so Mellgren. Lykke was full of enthusiasm to be fair to him, although nasty little challenge on Ulrich when he rightly got excluded. As said Dyer fell first bend, i had no complaints about Garrity on him as Wilkinson did worse to Mellgren when he got excluded.
  6. Anyone there last night knows we could have seen more races, indeed the big track grade after heat 8 - delayed matters when it was clear rain was on the way. The track actually rode well, plenty of lines with a number of overtakes. Rye House were going well when meeting was called off - but lets not kids ourselves about getting something - Rye were a two-man team - albeit a decent one in the shape of Tyson and Garrity - but with Summers, Kus and Dyer all going well, I still dont think they would have got anything and I think they knew that.
  7. Wow what a signing, well done Berwick. Kennett could average over 10 easily in PL. This a guy confident of going through GP qualification and has started the season brilliantly.
  8. Taylor Poole for Carl Wilkinson...cant we have a race night to pay for that!
  9. I was thinking Pepe Franc. But there would be plenty of options no doubt.
  10. No getting away from it, track organisation was a shambles, that said it really didnt look that bad when we got there or when the parade was on, and I would say after the work and forgetting the dust the racing was excellent. Micky Dyer, what can you say, simply amazing and one of the best displays I have seen from a Middlesbrough/Redcar rider. Shame a miscalculation cost him the chance to go for 21. Ostergaard - improving, but still not his old self. Kus - Excellent but seemed to tire and suffer from bike issues. Wilkinson - Quickly emerging as real weak link, especially when you consider if we drop him and keep Davey we could bring in an 8 point man, something to consider. Summers - A bit subdued but was ok. Dyer - Wonderful Davey - Looked very smooth but more importantly pretty quick. Stead - On the whole very disappointing but improved as night went on. Albin - Thought he looked on the pace, full of potential. Haines - Poor Wells- Poor first ride then was excellent. Koppe - Way off the pace. Knight - See above
  11. Wow well done boys, Micky Dye r what a gem. Now we suddenly have Ulrich and more so Matty starting to fire, meaning we have a very, very good TEAM rather than just two riders at best
  12. For Worrall to say majority is just lunacy. Every track has the odd big mouth/idiot - Redcar are not alone, but for other clubs/fans to preach a holier than thou attitude is just as ridiculous. Young Mr Worrall is thankfully fine - fans can accuse, but if Summers and Worrall are fine with it - we can all just accept it as a racing incident - again I think he needs to learn he can let go of the throttle to reduce speed, but as said if Aaron is fine and didnt see anything in it, then that's okay.
  13. The terrible track where between three home riders they won 11 races on Thursday...Kus has been crap on every track he has ridden this year, it is his attitude not the track. Ask Micky Dyer and Aaron Summers what they think
  14. At least our current trackman isnt doing his best to close the club down, and sack our captain...but hey ho, swings and roundabouts!
  15. Still, he has as many wins as our number one this year!
  16. Love Berwick fans moaning about a lack of number one - Ostergaard has won ONE race so far this season LOL - Bears are a three man Aussie team - Kus is shocking, but Wilkinson is hardly any better. Fingers crossed, Micky, Skiddy and Aaron keep it up!
  17. I get warned for calling a senile Geordie senile, yet this idiot can say something like this!
  18. Wow Micky Dyer - what a performance! Already the saviour of our season and we are only in Mid-April! Well done Micky!
  19. If we had a proactive promotion, then Ostergaard, Wilkinson and Kus would all be on on the brink - Wilko maybe survives due to his average for now but the other two need to be drinking in the last chance saloon. We are already far too reliant on our two winter signings, nothing like putting pressure on early doors!
  20. Redcar have signed Mitchell Davey as replacement for Max Dilger. Better than using NL guests. Best of luck to Mitchell, big chance for him. Debut this Thursday.
  21. New Redcar signing to be involved to replace Dilger - likely Mudgway or next cheapest option.
  22. Wasting your time, on the whole a bunch of cretins with a holier-than-thou attitude which is always present when they have a good a team - unfortunately they will be down in their droves come the league match for one reason only, for the points - when they were not beating us it is strange how few dirty diamonds we saw at the STMP! But that is sport, most people wont travel to watch dross, which is what we have got at the moment.
  23. The only delusional fans on here are any who think that is a race track of any repute boring meeting with very few positives. Dyer excellent, Ostergaard ok but not a number one anymore. Talking of disillusioned fans, you can include any Redcar fans who think they can finish outside bottom four. Newcastle look title contenders without doubt, Lindgren looks very quick and gives a genuine third heat leader to the side.
