King's Lynn v Sheffield 09/09/21
scoobydoo replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Meant more along the lines of the set up of those who will actually be invloved and who will be running the club , Think both clubs need to steer well clear of Bridger and Proctor for sure ,also think like Bagpuss stated that many of those who didn't ride in the UK wont return in 2022 either, riders like Bewley and J Holder will give the UK a miss also -

Ty Proctor and Lewis Bridger have announced they have both come out of semi retirement again and resigned for 2022 , But lets hope its really to officially confirm the club will run in 2022 and onwards -

I for one wasn't expecting anywhere near the 8pts he scored for the Panthers , he has had some decent meetings in the past 4-6 weeks guesting for various teams in the championship, then his last 2 matches before Monday at the showground he scored zero in both which swayed people to think oh dear , Monday showed that hes got some potential , hes now obviously one that Rob Lyon will be keeping tabs on, -

Kemp has suffered from over hype and expectation needs a season away from Ipswich altogether -
Amazing that Peterborough could finish top of the table and then have trouble getting a suitable average wise guest for there #1

For King to ride for Panthers they would need to lose at least two of the present 7 riders and that wont happen Cook maybe to guest in the next home match against Sheffield -

Mr Crump could be the difference, hope he fades in the later heats as hes been doing on the bigger tracks Hard for me to say this as he is my all time Panthers favourite since the spotty young 16yr first rode for the Panthers in 1992 , when he left the Panthers to go to Lynn in 2000 that was the begining of my interest in attending speedway disappearing -
Very true in many ways , but if one injured rider can be replaced that wasnt within the present rules in place concerning the deadline then why shouldn't Peterborough ask about Ostergaard or the rules are the rules end of and no one gets replaced and guests have to be used as per the present rules
-
There new polish rider was declared before the deadline and approved but there waiting for his work permit i believe to arrive before he can officially ride in the team . Poole and Sheffield think they can replace Stefan Neilsen using Poole's rules as he got injured after the deadline if they do get permission Peterborough should be able to replace Ostergaard

Can Kings Lynn help Peterborough and do them a big favour

Jack Thomas had three rides yesterday at Leicester and at Glasgow today as a guest for the Tigers and scored zero in both matches so don't expect to much from him. -
Strongest second tier ever?
scoobydoo replied to ruckerroo's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Peterborough at present have Ostergaard out injured and tomorrow all 6 premiership sides are racing , Peterborough then can obviously book a guest from the championship only , who from the riders available to them that dont currently ride in the premiership would be able to guest and would actually do a job for the Panthers , -
You may need to lend him a calculator on the journey as a fully fledged witches fan hes not used to counting over 40 these days so the high numbers that the Panthers have been achieving may be a bit much for him at first but given a bit of tutorial he will be fine .
