Panthers v Witches 5th September
scoobydoo replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Granted Hans has been poor this year but 12 months ago he was scoring big points from reserve and at the time Panthers fans were all concerned he was moving into the main team again just at the wrong time during the play offs, hes took some nasty bangs the last few years including some this year although its looking like his time as a Panther is coming to an end one way or another his status amonst the legend riders of the club shouldn't be tarnished because of one poor sesson out of the many hes ridden for the Panthers , if Peterborough run and keep Harris and sign another big hitter then i wouldn't be surprised if his average fitted again. -

Witches have far to long a tail to win the league. -
Lets hope hes not agreed to sponsor a team that hasn't been confirmed as running yet !! At this stage there not going to say there not running with matches left to run and the need to keep people attending , nothings assured until a statement is released
-
As a PR stunt they will wait until end of the season and then if its true , announce it just to keep fans and sponsors onside and promise everyone a team to win the league blah blah blah

Simon Lambert as expected then with RR for Hans , Basso , Nicholls, Lambert & Jenkins as options , at least split the Harris Basso pairing up for this match , Basso now has the pressure of being the main man in his heats but hes showing ges very capable of stepping up at the moment and all whilst carrying an injured shoulder thats not 100% -

I was thinking him but at the same time thinking would he be prepared to travel over and ride as a guest or would the promotion prefer someone in the uk thats far cheaper Expect Simon Lambert again -
If there running in 2023 they wont say anything until this season is over ,they will use it as a deflection to ensure the fans and sponsors stay on side for the new season , say the right things expecting everyone to just forget the embarrassment of this so called league defence season .
