Dont think it will be the stadium as he makes good money from the stocks, will get rent from Speedway . Got to say hes done very well if hes sold both promotions with the current cost of living crisis, maybe took a bit less than he wanted but lucky to find two people willing to buy them both
-
In that case today was just the practice session then
-
Chris Harris has ridden for most premiership teams especially if you take his guest appearances into account
-
Going rate maybe the same but the funds to implement changes or pre season team building have to different, no rent to pay and catering/stocks income at Lynn Why would Basso and MPT be riders Peterborough moved on if rumours are/were true , Nicholls, Andersen perhaps but not those two, Harris is a nomad who moves around alot anyway. Peterborough should have more in the bank if you take into consideration they made no team changes other than the RS slot , Lynn brought in Klindt and Jakobsen which wouldn't of been cheap for the time of year, maybe Lynn have better and more sponsorship but it seems theres more money available to Lynn than Peterborough.
-
Peterborough to drop down hence why Basso wont be back , MPT to ride for Lynn and Peterborough, Andersen to ride one last season , Dale Allit to concentrate on Lynn with a former owner running the Panthers at championship level Thought it was pure BS when i heard this weeks ago but now who knows ??
-
If Peterborough are to run with a sub standard team and use a whats left policy bunch of riders , they would be better off not running at all . What is the attraction for Peterborough riders to join Lynn , tracks basically the same with material and preparation, even the shapes fairly similar Can only be one thing "money" , unless Rob Lyon is the problem
-
Yeah , but Peterborough can offer him more tyres for home meetings !!
-
If i was a betting man which im not as its a mugs game !! Basso WILL join a Premiership team before the season starts in March
-
His so called only day then was in 2006

Everyone knows that when any agreements between parties are put in place , theres always the chance of possible delay's , Everyone wants to hear that something positive is in the pipeline if it takes another couple of weeks to sort it out further then patience is the name of the game in this case
-
Is that average of 7.10 the laps between him sitting down again

Jubilee championship league
scoobydoo replied to westlakejawa's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Both teams have 7 riders each who will it seems be riding in the UK in 2023 so why not just run the 2 meetings next season with the same riders in each team that rode in the 2nd leg of the final . -
Perhaps Schlein is doing what Crump did before he came back out of retirement a few meetings in Aussie to get in shape Would he need to return the money he took from his farewell meeting ? Far to many farewells then they return these days If hes the best Peterborough can get it shows the budget and ambition levels of the club
-
On the Peterborough thread its been suggested he is !!
-
To think years sgo Aussies were seen as pure comedy when riding the tighter UK tracks ,those days have gone for sure now
-
Think Cook wasnt invited to the Olympique at Wolverhampton for nothing
-
Chris Louis found a loophole to get Doyle the junior witch award as well then

So Interest rates up today to 3% how many houses are the developer's of the showground expecting to sell in 2023 now with the increase in mortgage costs Also have they completed the purchase of the area that the showground track and Grandstand sit on ,if so then maybe they may want as much use of the facility as possible to provide some revenue return which may lead to more frequent meetings and a longer agreement for the speedway to remain in place ???
-
If its 25% off the rounded up 3pts that shows on the monthly figures thats 2.25 but that is most likely there actual average thats been rounded up in the first place
-
Be interesting to see who takes to the AFA best on the night, Leicester Morris , Howarth and R Worrall have had double figures at the AFA this season, Mountain has ridden for Lynn before, the Thompson brothers may struggle along with Clegg Poole Lawson is Lynn's #1 , S Worrall hit n miss and King rides the AFA well, the Cooks , Ben maybe ok Zack maybe not so but could go either way, Kemp and Ablitt may struggle Teams look pretty even so could be decided by the brothers from each team and which pair ride the clay based track the best .

Hope they paid a bit extra for the new pioneering glass in the windows that it seems has been fitted to many homes up and down the country so that when you look out of it from miles away you can see whats happening with the weather and track preparation at anytime of the day or night ,results seem to now suggest its a go to must for every speedway fan
