I remember a Wolverhampton vs Peterborough match held at Station Road in the 90's. I think that was one of the legs of a final.

Hi there, I'm looking for some advice please. My Dad recently passed away and I am currently going through the pretty grim task of clearing the house. Whilst in the loft I have come across his collections of programmes and speedway stars. There are too many for me to keep, but at the same time I don't want to just throw them away as they represent 50 years of collecting by my Dad. My question is where is the best place to try and sell these. I use ebay and have had a look on there at what is currently sold but I wouldn't have a clue how to give an accurate description of what I have. I also have no idea in terms of value and really don't fancy posting about 15 boxes full of programmes and magazines. To give you an idea there are almost complete sets of programmes (filled in) for Leicester Lions and Nottingham / Long Eaton. There are numerous away matches for these two teams and then 4 or 5 world final programmes. The speedway stars go back decades and are all boxed up. Are there any collectors groups out there that I could contact or has anyone got any experience of selling a large collection like this? Thanks in advance. Tim
