  2. Leicester have announced their team for tonight showing Tom Perry in at reserve for the injured Josh Bates. Josh Bates scored 13 last night for Kent at King's Lynn in the National League. Is Tom Perry still riding or is Josh Bates coming back in?
  3. Who will go then, Norrie or Mads. Didn't Norrie say the other day that if one of his riders was fit enough to ride overseas but not for Leicester he would quit if the rider was not sacked. It would seem that Mads Korneliussen rode on Sunday abroard, made himself unavailable for Leicester on Monday but rode in Sweden on Tuesday.
  4. My top 10 on current form are now as follows- 01-Jason Doyle-Leicester-1190 02-Matej Zagar-Belle Vue-1150 03-Hans Andersen-Coventry-1100 04-Kenneth Bjerre-King's Lynn-1020 05-Chris Harris-Coventry-970 06-Bjarne Pedersen-Eastbourne-965 07-Troy Batchelor-Swindon-963 08-Scott Nicholls-Belle Vue-950 09-Peter Kildemand-Swindon-920 10-Davey Watt-Lakeside-900 Riders who would have been included but are either injured or are otherwise prevented from riding are:- Neils Kristian Iversen-King's Lynn-1140 Darcy Ward-Poole-1135 Tai Woffinden-Wolves-1080 Piotr Pawlicki-Wolves-1075
  5. My top 10 riders on current form are now as follows:- 01-Edward Kennett-Rye House-1050 02-Simon Stead-Sheffield-1030 03-Rohan Tungate-Ipswich-980 04-Ben Barker-Plymouth-975 05-Craig Cook-Edinburgh-950 06-Danny King-Newcastle-940 07-Nick Morris-Somerset-935 08-Theo Pijper-Glasgow-920 09-Ollie Allen-Somerset-910 10-Ulrich Ostergaard-P/Boro'-900
  6. But Mick Bates was influenced by Davey Watt who was seen to be angrily remonstrating with him. One thing though , Middlo said it was up to Lakeside when it was to be called off. Is this correct?
  7. I agree with all the posts that criticize last night's farce. What gets my goat is that it is fine for the winning team to want to continue to heat 10 to get the match points but then to refuse to continue even when the conditions are no different and the losing team still has a mathematical chance of getting some reward for being forced to race against their wishes. If it was OK to race heat 10 it should have been OK to continue until the match was either decided or the referee decided enough was enough. Obviously the match should not have proceeded past the downpour but it did because Lakeside wanted it to but having ridden on they should have been compelled to continue to a conclusion. I was also amazed at Neil Middleditch's hypocrisy when considering his stance at Belle Vue last season, the outcome of which we all know got Poole into the play offs and subsequently won them the league title. I was also riled by Davey Watt's stance . He is renouned for not wanting to ride when conditions are difficult but he reluctantly did so but only until Lakeside reached heat 10 more than 6 points in front. Such farces must be prevented in future.
  8. I've always thought this. In the past I used to post the +/- league table on a monthly basis but this season I have not done so even though I still keep a record. Might not be as wild as he was and perhaps not as exciting to watch but he is still one of the leagues big hitters and is still a genuine number 1 in this country at least but not in say Poland or Sweden whose teams are much stronger than ours.
  9. 10. I understand that Jason Doyle was fined for arriving late. What a joke. He said on Facebook 3 hours before the meeting that he was stuck on the A34 with little chance of getting there on time.
  11. OK but please understand as I have explained before, my calculations are based on the amount of difficulty and ease of obtaining points in certain heats. i.e. heats 13 & 15 are harder to score points in that say heats 2-7 & 14. My spreadsheet allows for this and provides ranking points based on this and not done without any statistical analysis as you deemed to assume. 01-Simon Stead----Sheffield--1040 02-Ben Barker-----Plymouth----980 03-Josh Grajzonek-Workington--960 04-Danny King-----Newcastle---950 05-Rene Bach------Workington--940 06-Craig Cook-----Edinburgh---930 07-Edward Kennett-Rye House---925 08-Theo Pijper----Glasgow-----910 09-Oliver Allen---Somerset----905 10-Rohan Tungate--Ipswich-----900

  13. Thought putting out understrength teams is against the rules and clubs may be fined for doing so. If this is not such a case I don't know what is. It also seems that normal guests are allowed for riders who get injured in a non speedway activity so why can't the sensible thing be to allow teams missing riders due to being forced to ride elsewhere to be replaced properly also?
  14. The reason they gave us on Fast Track Reserves was that they would stay at reserve all season in order to develop them into future International class riders by letting them be involved with better standard riders. It seems to me that by allowing BPL teams to have first claim on them when there is a fixtures class defeats this object and penalises the BEL teams who were happy to downgrade their product in order to help these riders. This must change if this system is to continue.
  15. Very true, but Harris has obviously more ability than any 6 point BPL rider even though he sometimes doesn't ride like it. At the time however, Wolves thought that he would give at least his average performance. Perhaps rider replacement should be applied with any 2 riders above the missing rider's average and by 2 riders below, even if the latter are the 2 Fast Track Reserves.
  16. Isn't it really a case of Wolves being happy to accept that he was sick because a sick note has been produced. Who knows but maybe that it was Wolves themselves knowing they were in a spot of bother who instigated the outcome. In any case the BSPA in their unbiased wisdom must have been happy to sanction the use of a guest. I think it is about time that the BSPA have a serious think about such situations.
  17. No problems at all with clubs signing riders who on occasions have to miss a match due to being forced to ride elsewhere but they should only be replaced by a 6 point BPL rider and not by a BEL rider of similar ability.
  18. My top 10 riders on current form are now as follows:- 01-Craig Cook-Edinburgh 02-Danny King-Newcastle 03-Simon Stead-Sheffield 04-Josh Grajzonek-Workington 05-Ben Barker-Plymouth 06-Ollie Allen-Somerset 07-Rene Bach-Workington 08-Theo Pijper-Glasgow 09-Lasse Bjerre-Peterborough 10-Ulrich Ostergaard-Peterborough
  19. But they should have won this match. How did a team with 5 number 1s lose this match then?
  20. I think he has made himself unavailable and I think it will be Australia who will go through.
  21. I agree. Staying in the Premier League is not making him improve.
  22.
