  1. If DW has any desire to take part in next season's GP Qualifying Competition he presumably has to contest The Australian Championship from which the Australian entrants are chosen. Does this now put pay to this?
  2. Maybe he's just been bought as an asset for the future and will be loaned out.
  3. And haven't Eastbourne have already announced that they will only be competing in The National League?
  4. Maybe not but he was still good enough to qualify for The GP Challenge which makes him international class in my book
  5. I understand that it may be 5 but how is his introduction to the BEL any different to Milik who was allowed in on a 4
  6. For the last list of the season I offer you my top 20 riders based on their most current season ending meaningful 10 matches including guest appearances. 01-Craig Cook-Edinburgh-1080 02-Simon Stead-Sheffield-1060 03-Eddie Kennett-Rye House-1010 04-Sam Masters-Edinburgh-1000 05-Ulrich Ostergaard-Peterborough-980 06-Ben Barker-Plymouth-978 07-David Howe-Scunthorpe-975 08-Max Fricke-Edinburgh-950 09-Nick Morris-Somerset-910 10-Danny King-Newcastle-890 11-Richard Lawson-Redcar-885 12-Josh Auty-Scunthorpe-880 13-Ales Dryml-Peterborough-870 14-Kyle Newman-Plymouth-868 15-Jason Garitty-Rye House-865 16-Ollie Allen-Somerset-860 17-Kevin Doolan-Berwick-850 18-Lasse Bjerre-Peterborough-840 19-Richie Worrall-Ipswich-830 20-Brady Kurtz-Somerset-825
  7. So Milik in on a 4 was deemed to be Category 2 then because presumably he was not part of any professional league racing. Was this correct?
  8. Most current last 10 all meaningful matches including guest appearances but for my final chart of the season I offer you my top 20 including riders who ended the season on the injured list but not including riders who left the league before it's end. 01-Maciek Janowski-Poole-1200 02-Jason Doyle-Leicester-1180 03-Neils Kristian Iversen-King's Lynn-1140 04-Kenneth Bjerre-King's Lynn-1080 05-Tai Woffinden-Wolverhampton-1075 06-Hans Andersen-Coventry-1070 07-Scott Nicholls-Belle Vue-1050 08-Matej Zagar-Belle Vue-1040 09-Cheis Harris-Coventry-1010 10-Trot Batchelor-Swindin-1005 11-Craig Cook-Belle Vue-950 12-Peter Kildemand-Swindon-920 13-Rory Schlein-King's Lynn-860 14-Cameron Woodward-Eastbourne-800 15-Lewis Bridger-Lakeside-795 16-Przemyslaw Pawlicki-Poole-790 17-Ben Barker-Coventry-780* 18-Bjarne Pedersen-Eastbourne-775 19-Davey Watt-Lakeside-770 20-Simon Stead-Leicester-760 * Ben Barker ended the season with Coventry but his ranking points were earned with Birmingham.
  9. Let's hope the powers that be learn of this and give it serious consideration
  10. I was going to but decided against it because he has obviously already made the grade by taking part in a GP.
  11. In no particular order and on the basis that there will be only one FTR next season the following 12 riders should be the first to be considered. Richie Worrall Kyle Howarth Robert Lambert Richard Lawson Jason Garrity Lewis Kerr Kyle Newman Steve Worrall Ashley Birks Charles Wright Josh Auty Lewis Blackbird
  12. How about each team having a pool of say 3 riders to call on if a replacement rider is required. Teams such as Poole & Swindon who have assets riding elsewhere to use these whenever possible and teams such as Leicester who have no suitable loanees to be allocated riders who are not part of other team's squads who cannot ride for any other teams once used.
  13. Not really. Take Poole for example. They have riders out on loan to other clubs because they can't accommodate them themselves. It is these riders, and only these, who should be allowed to guest for their parent club. Likewise Swindon are in a similar situation so the same could apply to them. Other clubs may also be able to join the scheme but there are obviously teams such as Leicester who are not able to draw on any suitable loanees. In their case might it not be possible for them to be allocated a couple of riders who are not belonging to any of the other teams.
  14. Are you talking actual 2014 season averages or Green Sheet Rolling or has it become the same now?
  15. Exactly. Current form is always the best way to go.
  16. Yes because it is important for the FTRs to be involved at the very top as often as possible if they are to progress as intended.
  17. If say Swindon want to keep Worrall and say Poole want to keep Newman etc then such riders should no longer be on the FTR list so they must be part of their hopefully 1 to 6 next season.
  18. In principle this idea was to be applauded but as we now know in practice it has not really worked . If it is to be continued in 2015 I would like to see that only one such rider per team be allowed who must always be made available to his team whenever his Premier or National League team are in action on the same day.
  19. as we all know and expected. Guest riders were not abolished but instead they were used more times in 2014 than I can ever remember. It's got really silly now. Hopefully the powers that be can be made to see what a mess they have created and do something about it.
  20. So we are agreed then. Something must be done.
  21. My top 10 riders on current form are now as follows:- 01-Steve Worrall-Cradley Heath-1110 02-Simon Lambert-Kent-1105 03-Joe Jacobs-Mildenhall-1020 04-Dan Halsey-Mildenhall-970 05-Paul Starke-Cradley Heath-950 06-Ben Morley-Kent-945 07-Simon Neilsen-Coventry-930 08-James Sarjaent-Coventry-910 09-Liam Carr-Buxton-900 10-Josh Bates-Mildenhall-895
  22. My top 10 riders on current form are now as follows:- 01-Maciek Janowski-Poole-1190 02-Jason Doyle-Leicester-1180 03-Matej Zagar-Belle Vue-1110 04-Troy Batchelor-Swindon-1105 05-Kenneth Bjerre-King's Lynn-1090 06-Hans Andersen-Coventry-1080 07-Chris Harris-Coventry-1070 08-Scott Nicholls-Belle Vue-1050 09-Craig Cook-Belle Vue-970 10-Peter Kildemand-Swindon-930
  23. There is more time wasting at the starts than ever now. I think that starting marshalls are now being totally ignored with many riders not wanting to line up until the others have done so. When more than one rider does this it takes forever. Sometimes the referees flash the green light to tell them to hurry up but this is a waste of time because they simply do their own thing. Gate one should be asked to line up first then gate two and so on. Riders not conforming to the satisfaction of the referee to be dealt with after the race has been completed.
