  1. Results ought not to stand until it is decided. If it is still possible for the losing team to get something out of the match then it ought not to stand. The chance of getting a losing point though does to a certain extent make this a problem so perhaps if the losing team has no chance of actually winning maybe there is an argument for it to stand anyway. Mistakes are not a problem, everybody does it, it is the constant using of the word super that irritates me.
  2. He won't have any trouble with the word super. When I was announcing once at a British Swimming Grand Prix my colleague doing the race commentaries was forever saying super this and super that. One morning when we arrived to do that day's session the swimming team from Loughborough University had deposited a note on our table explaining that between them they had compiled a list of 100 words that also meant the same as super and they asked us to try and vary it a bit more. Oh how I wish Kelvin & Nigel would also be just as considerate.
  3. This match will be without both Jason Doyle and Kenneth Bjerre who are both on GP qualifying duty at Berwick on the same night.
  4. On current form my top 10 riders are now as follows 01-Craig Cook-Edinburgh 02-Ben Barker-Plymouth 03-Josh Grajzonek-Workington 04-Nicolai Klindt-Scunthorpe 05-Edward Kennett-Rye House 06-Danny King-Newcastle 07-Lasse Bjerre-Peterborough 08-Simon Stead-Sheffield 09-Claus Vissing-Berwick 10-Ulrich Ostergaard-Peterborough
  5. Does it matter which of the reserves rides at 6. I know Leicester have changed theirs around from time to time.
  6. On current form my top 10 are now as follows. 01-Neils Kristian Iversen-King's Lynn 02-Jason Doyle-Leicester 03-Matej Zagar-Belle Vue 04-Peter Kildemand-Swindon 05-Piotr Pawlicki-Wolverhampton 06-Hans Andersen-Coventry 07-Przem Pawlicki-Poole 08-Kenneth Bjerre-King's Lynn 09-Troy Batchelor-Swindon 10-Chris Holder-Poole I have included Kenneth Bjerre despite him being currently on the sidelines but if I had not then Scott Nicholls would come in at #10. Also Chris Holder will not be included again until he returns to The BPL.
  7. The double points tactical ride facility was presumably introduced to keep the scores closer and therefore maintain more interest for as long as possible but sometimes teams taking advantage of this wins. This is fine, but I do not think they should gain maximum league match points as a result. If, by deducting the additional race points gained, which in this case is 5, the result would have been a 47-43 win for Poole, then they deserve a losing team's point with Coventry being given 2 and not the full 3.
  8. If a home team loses by less that 7 and the winning away team has used a tactical ride to do so then I think the home team should be awarded 1 point and the away team 2.
  9. 01-Craig Cook-Edinburgh 02-Simon Stead-Sheffield 03-Ben Barker-Plymouth 04-Josh Grajzonek-Workington 05-Edward Kennett-Rye House 06-Richard Lawson-Redcar 07-Ulric Ostergaard-Peterborough 08-Stuart Robson-Newcastle 09-Lasse Bjerre-Peterborough 10-Claus Vissing-Berwick
  10. 01-Neils Kristian Iversen-King's Lynn 02-Jason Doyle-Leicester 03-Przemyslaw Pawlicki-Poole 04-Peter Kildemand-Swindon 05-Piotr Pawlicki-Wolverhampton 06-Kenneth Bjerre-King's Lynn 07-Scott Nicholls-Belle Vue 08-Matez Zagar-Belle Vue 09-Hans Andersen-Coventry 10-Chris Holder-Poole
  11. On form Lakeside should win. Their CMA is currently 10 points up but it is based on having ridden most of their matches at home whereas 2 of Leicester's have been away.
  12. Thought the idea of having the same 2 young British riders at reserve for the entire season was to provide them with the opportunity to race at a higher level so as to educate and improve them. Should it be allowed therefore for a Premier League club to have first claim on such a rider's services when there is a fixtures clash?
  13. He is correct. They are not gating as good as the others but they are only National League standard so what can he expect.
  14. I think that an approach was made to the council with a view to making the area next to the stadium into car parking facilities but unfortunately the answer was no.
  15. Would Pawlicki have scored as well as Harris on a track he hasn't ridden on before?
  16. Leicester's 10 year old mascot Dan Thompson came 4th in yesterday's British Youth 125cc.
  17. Aaron Summers for Blackbird I understand and it is RR for Jason Doyle.
  18. According to the BSPA site Max Clegg has been replaced in the above because he is riding for Leicester against Peterborough. I don't know if he has decided this himself or not.
  19. Will they be using the new 2014 format for this one?
  20. Will the actual racing start at 7.00pm? I ask because it will be a bit tight for me to get there on time as I will not be able to set off from much before 4.45pm and it usually takes me 2 hours.
