  1. Yes Simon did score more than a few,but would he have scored more than another possible replacement ie Nicholls,Worrall. We won't know for sure but the odds are in favour of the latter. I think Allitt,Brady and Buster are bigger than letting a few comments on here to make them walk away and close down. What will make it close down is having a team like we currently have. The crowd was awful last night, probably the worse I have seen for an early season meeting.People will vote with their feet and ultimately that would cost Lynn dearly.
  2. Thing is he said he wants to see a reaction. To me he is staying with the same 7 for the time being. This could be a very long season, but also a usual short one for Lynn. Klindt has been awful and possibly needs to go before his average drops to a 7 I think.
  3. Would have preferred Douglas and Worrall/Nicholls.Douglas is pretty good at Leicester.Still not bad replacements as it is. It still doesn't undo the rubbish we had to endure last night. It seems from the report from last night that they are going to put up with them for a little longer. How much longer do we give them. Two matches imo is make or break for the riders if they don't perform then they must go.Problem being if you do like for like their averages drop in May which makes it that little harder.
  4. Don't think they would personally, not at the moment anyway. The 3 that don't ride the Championship,Jakobsen,Klindt and KK are easily beatable by Championship riders, that has been proven already rhis season. You would not believe how far off they pace they have been,KK accepted in a few races.
  5. So you should,Doyle,Sayfutdinov and King will be getting another house each with their pay day from this one.
  6. This team wouldn't finish in the top half of the Championship.Sheffield were by far superior to us and winning at a canter.Home riders shouldn't be beaten by 20/30 yards from the away team.It was a truly awful performance. The team needs sorting asap, but somehow i don't think any immediate action will happen. The only rider who can come away with a bit of pride would be Jorgensen imo. KK was the enigma i thought he would be tonight, novice and giving up in his first 2,then 2 good wins. Toft,Jakobsen and Klindt awful.
  7. You are probably right.Allitt strolling about here like everything is OK.He can't see what he is doing to the sport here in King's Lynn.
  8. I would go for Douglas for KK,and S.Worrall or Nicholls for Pickering.
  9. I don't blame Buster,a lot of this lies with Allitt imo.As many have noticed Buster takes more of a back seat these days.Things started changing at Lynn when Allitt became involved. In years gone by Buster wouldn't have thought twice about getting someone else in once they become available.Allitt now has more influence hence why there hasn't been a change tonight.
  10. I agree there were no options before the call off.But at the end of the day you have to make your team the strongest possible, especially for a home meeting. If that meant letting Simon down then it had to be done.He will still get pretty much a full day in at work before setting off for Lynn anyway. You can't let your home fans down, tonight they have big time.
  11. So he would be better off for himself to guest to keep his average low.You would think it would help his cause of getting bookings if he wanted them.If he ended up with say an 8pt average by signing as a temp replacent that would limit his chances of guesting after that.
  12. So would he be better off guesting for teams, don't think that counts towards an average does it?That would keep his average artificially low if it was the case and would get him more bookings if he wanted going forward, and at reserve in most cases.
  13. I was willing to give them the benefit of doubt to start with re Lambert tonight,as there really wasn't anyone available at the time. But as soon as the Wolves match was off they should of been on the phone to the riders in that match who could have covered for Pickering.I am pissed off as it seems they have sat on their arses and done bugger all.One of those riders would have done it I'm sure as they were all set to do a meeting anyway. 2 things wrong in your statement lynnboy, whenever have you ever done any hard work And have you really been going 40 years, you don't look a day over 25
  14. Just seen Pickering's average has now fallen to below 6 for May.If he is out for 4/6 weeks a temp replacement needed imo.Say Nicholls did sign,do those matches count towards an average for Nicholls?
  15. It's good to see Sheffield doing things that would help them win the match. The overall result is already Sheffields but they still want to win this match.I wish our promotion would now do something about our reserve birth tonight. Will they?I think not, despite the crap Allitt come out with in the meeting preview.
  16. There's plenty to choose from now.It would be a bit harsh on Lambert but this is sport and you must do the best you can for your team to get a result. S.Worrall does fit according to the averages.
  17. I see the Wolves meeting is off.Get on the phone to Nicholls now.
  18. Could they tempt Nicholls in as a 28 day replacement.Be handy at reserve away to Ipswich on the Bank Holiday if Pickering's average stays at no6.
  19. So he must have felt the team he wanted originally wasn't worth it then,as he didn't pay what he said back then.
  20. I would have gone for Cook, but he is ill. Also would he have been asked anyway,it seems he has burnt his bridges with several PL clubs.
  21. Take Rew out of that i think. He may be ineligible due to having an assessed average.
  22. Who would you suggest though? No one from the PL would be available,Nicholls Guesting for Wolves.Would anyone from the Championship be a decent guest, probably not.
  23. As i put on another thread,King couldn't guest as you don't get the 5% on top of the average for reserves.Unfortunate that and probably a rule i don't like. They are part of the 1-7 so don't see why all of them don't get the 5%. I have a season ticket now so will go whatever. If i didn't have one i may have stayed home too and watched some crap on TV. Going forward though if they constantly bring in guests like Lambert i will even consider not going even with the season ticket.Don't think they have many options for a guest in this one anyway with only Ipswich not riding.Only maybe Riss would have been suitable but is he fit yet? Can't have King or Rew,so that would only leave Hume.May as well go for Lambert at the NA. Edit:Thursday at Leicester you have a choice of say S.Worrall,Lidsey,Brennan,Nicholls,Riss if fit.Not a bad choice really.Nicholls and Worrall seem to be the riders in some form of late and would like to see one of them guest if Pickering isn't fit.Let's show some ambition Lynn management.
