King's Lynn v Belle Vue 08/06/22
tellboy replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If i was to say we have had the best season entertainment wise so far do you really reckon people will take a financial risk as you put it to come to the next one.Personally i don't. If speedway is worth a financial risk if you think the racing will be good then Belle Vue would be packed every week. -

We have Laguta, and then we have the rest,oh dear.Klindt,Jakobsen and Jorgensen what are they doing.Klindt is pants at Lynn always has been most of the time.People saying there must be something wrong elsewhere ie track, pits whatever.Klindt is just poor around Lynn.Jorgensen who is normally good value around Lynn is totally off the boil.Jakobsen's riding style just doesn't seem to suit the Lyyn track. Why does Edwards keep getting 4 rides.Kye needs the track time.Lemon didn't hesitate to pull Mulford from his 4th. -
Didn't see you tonight BB,were you there?Klindt,Jorgensen and Jakobsen were absolutely terrible.Need back up for Artem, not an engine room like that.
-
A winning team and Laguta will bring the crowd back imo.Laguta and getting beat week after week will only improve a bit. There were some good races tonight, but ultimately you need a winning team to keep 95% of people happy and to keep coming back.Getting beat every week and the ones that came to see Artem will slowly drift away.

Bully's star prize then. Mr Lyon would know all about Bullseye.
-
How about 3
-
Don't forget the tally of where you have got things wrong, hit the wire, out of the board
-
Should have put some tinted goggles on
-
4 more rides each than we would have seen them in last season,so maybe better value than last year.I know what you are saying though.
-
That's good, good to know that the better riders may attract a few more people back or even newbies.
-
Are there plenty there witnessing it Phil?I would like to think there is with the calibre of riders on show.Plus the attraction of course of Sayfutdinov.

What's with Morris asking the riders if they have enough methanol.Surely that is down to the riders/mechanics. -

One thing I don't get about the track is it has been clay based for many years.Even the time we was in the lower league it was clay based. The riders then,Topinka,Doolan,Mills,Harding,Oliver could all ride it successfully. Now fast forward a few years and the so called better riders can't.I just don't get why the so called lesser riders can ride different types of surface but the better riders can't.Shouldn't it be the other way around? -
It was definitely double what was here against Peterborough,so double that and we will take that as the final figure.Obviously cameras are deceiving.

I agree again with Bagpuss,i have seen enough of KK at home this season to know that he wouldn't have maintained the 10.40 home average. He had bottled a few first turns when he wasn't a bike length ahead going into the first turn.Plus he was riding at 2nd string rather than a number 1. -

Granted you would expect Pickering to be better than Kye,but on the other hand Laguta will be better than KK.So i don't think the old team is a lot stronger.Imo Pickering will be back when fully fit too. -
There was over a thousand there last night. And Kye excepted.

Don't think the signing makes the team poorer,Laguta is a class rider and Kye certainly done his bit,it was the remaining ones that let everyone down by putting in an even poorer display than they normally do. -

Should make it more interesting next week then. -

Lots better than last week,as Bagpuss said the car park was rammed. And last week i could count the supporters on a couple hands on bends 3 an 4.This week i had to use my hands and my webbed feet, then i lost count -
Ipswich v Wolves June 1st

I don't think it is just Ipswich fans that are fickle,i think it is most speedway fans in general. -

The crowd tonight was most definitely better this week by a long way.Double i would say,as it was that bad against Peterborough.Sheffield again bought plenty of support. Quite happy with our two new riders.Laguta having probably never rode on a surface quite like the NA before so quite happy and hopefully he will gain in confidence on how the track/surface rides in future matches. Kye 4 from 3 rides got to be happy with that.Find it strange he only got 3 rides.Heat 2 then not a race until ht 11.That to me was poor management. The guy is new to this track,we were getting hammered surely he needs more races to get comfortable and the feel of the track. Whoever came up with £10,000 a meeting for Laguta needs to give their head a wobble, seriously. Buster needs to don his tractor gear again imo,the other guy, well he needs some lessons imo.Didn't think the track was that grippy tonight, wasn't enough material down imo. The rest of the team seriously need to look at themselves because they are letting themselves down as well as the fans.Truly awful gating from all bar Laguta in the end.Why are they so slow from the gate is baffling to me.The biggest let down for me so far is MPT,ok he don't always gate, but he is normally at least on the tails of the riders in front. He was yards behind tonight again. Roll on next week we only have Belle Vue to contend with.Bewley,Kurtz and Lidsey all pushovers -

Agree, the more noise the better. That is what makes Cardiff the occasion it is.The atmosphere is electric at Cardiff and that is with the racing being naff half the time. Who are these people saying all this.Blimey if you don't hear the times ask someone beside you I'm sure they will help.I have to do that half the time as I am normally chatting when the times are given out.I just can't believe people come out with such rubbish, must be the same people that moaned about the silencers years back. -

30+2 from 18 rides isn't too bad from the last 2 seasons imo. That is averaging what Klindt's actual average is,but Klindt isn't averaging much at all this season anyway.Best guest available i think anyway. He has had some very good meetings at Lynn, hoping tomorrow night will be one of those too.
