Ipswich V Kings Lynn May 1st
tellboy replied to cowboy cookie returns?'s topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm feeling more confident now having just seen Alex Brady in the crowd at the GP.He's obviously gone to Sign Zmarzlik at no1 and Lambert to return at reserve just in time for Monday -

I don't have much hope, but there is always a small chance if you have a lot of lady luck go your way.Put yourself in a Lynn fans shoes though after seeing them get humiliated 3 times, and just getting by a Wolves team at home i think you would feel the same.Glad i am at work until about 3pm.If it was a 7.30pm start i would have to have made a big decision myself.Plus they don't even know who is going to be guesting yet. -

So pretty good 13 years ago then. The opposition wasn't exactly great neither,Schlein at 1,even Barker getting paid 14 -

When did KK last ride at Foxhall?Klindt 5 last season.Kerr won't be there. That leaves Jorgensen,Toft and Jakobsen in the main body of the team, that doesn't fill many Stars fans with too much hope i wouldn't have thought, not the way they have gone so far this season anyway. -

Get Nicholls in for Pickering.Get his 7 rides out the way by ht 12,get him in his van by 3.45pm off to Wolverhampton no doubt he will be guesting there,3hrs later arrive at Wolverhampton 75 minutes before start time.Job done and he will sleep like a baby that night -
Has anything been confirmed re Pickering's injury.Has he broken anything.I see he maybe out 4-6 weeks but i haven't seen anything on the website regarding his injury. You would have thought there would be some updates now being it's a week since the incident.

I know there isn't anyone who springs to mind. When your team has been shocking though you have to be seen to be trying to do things.Like last night surely they could have got someone in instead of Lambert. It makes me feel if they can't be asked why should i.I don't know if you were there last night Baggy but that crowd was awful. The longer they carry on the more likely those are the type of crowds will be. I don't know whether a Smolinski,Huckenback, or anyone of similar ilk would want a go.These are probably on paper lesser riders but it would at least give the fans a thought that at least they are trying something. At least they have gone half decent with guests for the next 3 matches.
-
But the longer they stick with a losing team, more and more of the crowd will get peed off and will probably vote with their feet.Even you did say about watching Emil next time but another heavy defeat will make your mind up for the next one.So changes need to be imminent imo, unless things change on track against Leicester and Ipswich
-
The averages are coming down, but with Jakobsens going up and KK yet to get a new one the team averages goes above the total team points limit. So if you replace one rider on a like for like basis you are going to have a lesser average to work with.
-
It is.
-
Yes Simon did score more than a few,but would he have scored more than another possible replacement ie Nicholls,Worrall. We won't know for sure but the odds are in favour of the latter. I think Allitt,Brady and Buster are bigger than letting a few comments on here to make them walk away and close down. What will make it close down is having a team like we currently have. The crowd was awful last night, probably the worse I have seen for an early season meeting.People will vote with their feet and ultimately that would cost Lynn dearly.
-
Thing is he said he wants to see a reaction. To me he is staying with the same 7 for the time being. This could be a very long season, but also a usual short one for Lynn. Klindt has been awful and possibly needs to go before his average drops to a 7 I think.

Leicester v King's Lynn 27th April

Would have preferred Douglas and Worrall/Nicholls.Douglas is pretty good at Leicester.Still not bad replacements as it is. It still doesn't undo the rubbish we had to endure last night. It seems from the report from last night that they are going to put up with them for a little longer. How much longer do we give them. Two matches imo is make or break for the riders if they don't perform then they must go.Problem being if you do like for like their averages drop in May which makes it that little harder. -
Don't think they would personally, not at the moment anyway. The 3 that don't ride the Championship,Jakobsen,Klindt and KK are easily beatable by Championship riders, that has been proven already rhis season. You would not believe how far off they pace they have been,KK accepted in a few races.
-
How do you get rid of 3.5 riders
-
So you should,Doyle,Sayfutdinov and King will be getting another house each with their pay day from this one.
-
This team wouldn't finish in the top half of the Championship.Sheffield were by far superior to us and winning at a canter.Home riders shouldn't be beaten by 20/30 yards from the away team.It was a truly awful performance. The team needs sorting asap, but somehow i don't think any immediate action will happen. The only rider who can come away with a bit of pride would be Jorgensen imo. KK was the enigma i thought he would be tonight, novice and giving up in his first 2,then 2 good wins. Toft,Jakobsen and Klindt awful.
-
You are probably right.Allitt strolling about here like everything is OK.He can't see what he is doing to the sport here in King's Lynn.
-
I would go for Douglas for KK,and S.Worrall or Nicholls for Pickering.
