  1. Charges(roughly)i think are for the race-off cheapest adult £17 dearest adult £36.50 kids £8 Final cheapest adult £28 dearest adult £50.50 kids £8 I worked these from the prices given on the speedway gp website and at 8.9DKK to the Pound.
  2. Most of them are already here earning our wages. You only have to visit East Anglia and you will see. This is why they can afford the British GP and more. As i said earlier i have a Polish friend from work he went to the GP at the Millenium and his friends went with him.He also met up with some of his Polish friends there and they come from Glasgow. So i would say most of the Poles you would see at these events are actually living here and earning the wages we do.
  3. Can't really compare it on a like for like basis if they are held in two different countries.Salaries etc are completely different. As i said earlier as they earn alot less in Poland £5 works out alot to the Polish people. And as the majority of people would be from Poland they had to do the costs accordingly.
  4. Your point being? Their stadiums will be better as they have major crowds over there as it is their main sport. As i said there wages are alot lower to ours,so prices for events will be cheaper.I have a friend who i work with he is from Poland(and also a speedway fan).He seems to think Poland is as dear as Britain when you take the difference of wages into account.
  5. I thought it was reasonably priced tonight.Got my tickets at the end of June costing £15 for an adult and £5 for a child. Is this the same as Birmingham charge for a Premier League match. But tonight you get 10 extra races. As for the Poles charging alot less, they have to as the salaries over there are nowhere near as good as ours. This is why there are so many Poles over here earning a living.
  6. Are you sure that isn't for the pair.I thought the dearest seats were only £70-£80.Not that i would pay that much anyway £40 ones were what i went for.
  7. Hope Darcy isn't to hung over after winning the world u21,oh i forgot he is to young to drink. Lets hope he makes it a double with the golden helmet as well.
  8. Good luck to Tom and Darcy. Be great to see Tom turn back the clock(1996)and do it all again.
  9. Unlucky team GB.A great effort from the team tonight. Why do so many people look at the negatives instead of applauding the positives.
  10. I agree i think Nicholls would probably score more than say Bridger, but how many points would the others drop just with the tension created.
  11. No doubt there will be a set time for the team to be announced to the correct authorities. Football i assume you are saying as a more professional sport but they don't have to confirm there team until an hour before kick-off.
  12. Blimey thats a big price difference between sitting and standing. I guess my work mate must stand.
  13. About£4:50-£5 according to someone i work with. When he goes back home he goes to watch his home team Wroclaw.
  14. Don't forget the Poles earn lots less in their country, that's why they are all over here
  15. Give it a rest will you.Ever since Rossiter didn't get the job you pull everything down about GB and the management. They rode their socks off tonight and with no world beaters in our team they did the country proud with their never say die attitude. We ain't going to win anything yet,but with experience being gained with these meetings maybe in a few years time we will be pushing for something.
  16. Rightly or wrongly Rob has picked the team and he is 100% behind them just like the GB fans should be.God how this country has changed over the decades. By hoping Slovenia actually beat Team GB shows who the real P***K is.
  17. Thanks for that can see who has got who now in each heat
  18. Excellent coverage well done Fremantle. Great to see Kozza and Darcy doing so well. Roll on March.
  19. Well i was lucky to be around my brothers and watch it on his television, and we had TT translating any important bits. But that coin toss was excellent wasn't it.It had us in stitches and you didn't need a translater for what Holder and Boycey was saying. How many times did the FIM rep F**k it up and still didn't get it right.I like it when Holder or it may have been Boycey said why don't you get a proper fu**ing coin. Any way to the racing it was nothing special but the Russian most definately deserved the win.Tai was a big let down for me i really expected him to do ok,but his first race exclusion must have knocked the stuffing out of him especially with it being a ride you would think he could have won.Oh well there is a few more years for him yet only problem though there is the same amount of years left for the Russian.
