  1. Don't think you will see thousands of Lynn fans.May would have done if it meant a result won us the league. So we have Clegg for Lambert then.Personally after seeing Halsey around Belle Vue last week I would have gone for him.
  2. To be honest we need two guests, dont really want to go away from home needing a result and having R/R aswell. That would put extra pressure on Porsing and Lambert.
  3. How is R.Lambert,I see the cuts to his hand but was there any further damage?
  4. I know but it would have been a further 9 days of recovery since the Vojens GP.You never know he maybe feeling lots better now
  5. Agree think Wolves sacked him, didn't see any mention of Sweden in the club statement I see. Also agree regarding Mads, the seasons he spent at Lynn he would be pretty damn good early/mid season and a gradual decline as the season wore on.
  6. Following discussions it has been agreed that the format for Mondays double header meeting will now be:- Belle Vue v Kings Lynn followed by Belle Vue v Coventry. This was on the Belle Vue website. Think it was meant to say as Sky want to broadcast the King's Lynn meeting we have been made to move it in front of the Coventry meeting. Anyway if we are not allowed Harris would Kildemand,Batchelor or Tai do a guest booking, looks like we need two of them.
  7. Well is this the reason Harris was removed because Sky thought it would look amateurish if Harris rode and got injured or something and then couldn't ride for Coventry.
  8. Well I'm sure it was along the lines of a 28 day injury replacement.
  9. To be fair to Starlady Lambert was only signed as a temporary replacement in hope Rose would be fit.But as he seems to have Kings Lynn kevlars now and Rose seemed to still have crutches with him on Tuesday I guess he wont be fit. Shame as he was riding at his best this season when he got injured. Bjerre has to be a doubt also if he has pulled out of the GP Challenge. Many riders seem to be fit for those meetings and then not fit for the EL
  10. Whats the difference between him and Mads then, this is totally baffling me. Maybe Sky are insisting Lynn use a guest from Poole so Pearson and Tatum can ramble on about the great guest Lynn have got tonight.
  11. They managed to get a double header done last week ok,so I see no reason to change it around.Obviously Sky will have there say. According to the Wolves website they actually cancelled his contract September the 1st.
  12. Ok whoever we get in the play-offs i'll say if the opposition doesn't win by a cricket score because of the guests we have, that will make everything ok.I get your drift now.
  13. You pretty much said the same Monday by saying if Coventry don't win by a cricket score they want shooting.Where was your faith in Poole then.
  14. I'm sure if there is anything gone underhanded,Buster would let people know,i sincerely hope he would anyway.
  15. Yes I know he was guesting. This is why I thought this was a wind up what you said, this put doubt in my mind.I didn't know he had been mentioned on the Belle Vue website as guesting but it should surely be on there. But I trust you he was on there and now removed. If he is now not guesting people need to know the truth as to why. Will we get to know the truth?
  16. I agree, but I guess we will have to wait and see on Monday whether he guests or not. If he doesn't I would certainly back Lynn not to ride. And frankly would give a stuff if we were thrown out of the play-offs. Incidentally Phil the Ace I think your are just on a wind up,but cancelling my holiday just in case
  17. No wonder Leicester kept the guests quiet.Surely there were better guests out there for the Pole.No disrespect to Tungate but the EL has took a backwards step this season IMO.Another match with over a third made up of guests.
  18. Yet again most of those matches still meant something as finishing top means you can pick who you want to ride in the semi also cov swindon had not made the top 4 for certain .. Go back have a rethink they come back with another list instead of rushing and making a fool of yourself ... Edited by orion, Today, 02:05 PM Wasn't sure how to put multiple posts on here. But the other day you were saying nobody cares who tops the league, then you say matches mean something because you want to win the league so you can pick who you want.So somebody cares who wins the league
  19. Exactly I think he has plenty of speed, but as you say seems to drift.I would assume it might be like sliding on ice but if he sat down he would get more traction that would stop him drifting to wide.
  20. Surely Schlein must guest. He guests most days of the week for one team or another.
  21. Not sure if Watt was on a different bike in heat 13. Serious question would Simon Lambert get any more speed if he kept his ar*e on his seat around the bends.I don't know if anyone else notices but he don't put it back down until he is nearly out of the bend.Would you lose traction by not having your weight down on your machine?.I would assume so.
  22. Another Shovlaresque post. Stars have gone above 55 points 3 times this season once against a depleted Coventry team, once against Eastbourne who are known poor travellers and once against Birmingham who like Coventry had 3 riders missing, and we were pretty much at full strength for all three. I hope your right, but I will be happy with a 49-41 scoreline
  23. Similar performance the order of the day for Nicholls tomorrow paid 27 out of 27 at Belle Vue tonight.
  24. Maybe luring Poole or King's Lynn to pick them in the play-offs rather than having to face Swindon which looked on the cards before the meeting. The track may well be different in the play-offs.
