  1. Since when has league racing ever started at the beginning of March? As I stated in my post you would need to do bank holiday meetings as well.
  2. If there are 28 matches in the season they will need to race more than once a week I think.28 matches would run from April to the middle of October,or middle of March to the end of September depending on when the season would start. This doesn't allow for World cup,rain-offs or play-offs.This once a week would really be pushing it.Could have extra matches on bank holidays I suppose.
  3. Do you really think all the money has been swallowed up by the riders.I don't think the money makes it that far down the line.
  4. Yes.I was replying to (Well the problem is it runs to long now, way into October) this implies it never use to run much into October.
  5. Have you been going long.I've always remembered speedway going right up to the end of October. You make it sound like it's only a recent thing. The seasons have in recent years been shortened, not lengthened at all.
  6. Unfortunately I make that nearly 3 points over the current limit, which was 32 for the top 5 I believe.
  7. You missed the un in front of two words there
  8. There only seems to be one of them on here and it isn't DizzAssStar
  9. Very disappointed to see this called off.I would have thought the self proclaimed Man Utd of the speedway world would have had the track prep off to a tee. Not a track man myself but how should a flat blade gauge a 6 inch rut in a track?Using a router maybe. And can it be repaired for Thursday,as some Poole fans have said they have had trouble before on bend 1.If its took 6 months and nothing is done can it be done in a few days? Anyway back to the re-staging.Would like to see Garrity in for Kerr now.Havelock knows who he wants in the final and at a guess I would suspect that to be Lynn.I'm sure he would like to see Garrity go and get a 21 pointer for Lynn to maybe help them face his side . Will Nicholls now be available or does he have to go out with Eurosport early for the GP on Saturday.Heard today he goes out on Thursdays whether this is true or not I don't know
  10. Really I didn't expect people to think we would want the whole 22 yards for a speedway track.
  11. Cricket covers is what's needed.Suppose promotions would say to costly.
  12. Yes,the guest riders do assume the averages of the riders they are guesting for.As Screamer has said your top 3 riders can take either of the 1,3,&5 positions.
  13. And where have I said how good he is and where he will be.All I have said is I think he has achieved to the standard of what I think. You are the one thinking he is underachieving as you set your expectations of him so high. You thought he would be the next M.Lee and future world champion not me. And I think the promotion and Rob will be quite happy with him, they know the step up from the NL to the EL. And I agree with you in that I think he will be good in years to come, but not for one moment did I think he will hit the ground running in the EL as you did.
  14. Just had a look at second string averages from start of the year to their current ones.Missed out Birmingham ones and the riders that no longer ride EL plus North because I went back to access the averages again to find his and couldn't get them. Anyway the only rider out of 11 to improve his average more than Lambert is indeed Porsing. Milik came in with the identical improvement but did spend a bit of time as a heatleader I believe. So indeed only 4 riders averages have soared by over 2 points that's Toft,Porsing,Lambert and Milik. But I am sure North has aswell. Only people like you and Gater1 were expecting him to attain a 6.5-7 or more average. And yes I watched him last year storm to a 21 pointer and watched his home matches. But I also realised it was NL and it was such a step up to make. And I was happy for him just to improve his average as he did.
  15. Well that just sums up what a disastrous end of the season Lynn have had . Charles Wright is really our only option.Nobody else anywhere near Kerr's ability who is available.
  16. He has beat Zagar,Cook,Nicholls,Woodward,Kylmakorpi,Bech,Watt,Bridger,Korneliussen,Pawlicki and King all away from home,as I said not bad for a young 16 year old in his first season in the top flight.Beating these riders is a FACT as you put it.
  17. He's only being overrated by people like you who are expecting him beat all second strings and some heatleaders.People in the real world like most Lynn fans are happy with what he is doing, and that is averaging over 5 in his first season as a 16 year old.And beating some seasoned riders to boot home and away.
  18. That's actually the safest I have seen him ride.Maybe every track should be bladed when Milik is in town So he lost to Cook,King,Milik and Janowski, what do you expect him to be beating these by 20 yards or so.If this boy could gate he would have upped his average to around 7 I think. He has great balance on the bike and isn't afraid to mix it,just got to learn how to gate, hopefully that will come.
  19. I rang at 17:05 they said it had stopped raining and the sun was out.Buster was just getting ready to go out on the track. Expect Milik to have a couple of exclusions tonight for dangerous riding
  20. Didn't he have a little slide off at Lakeside and then withdrew. Then a few days later was riding at Kent. This is one of the rules I don't like as it is so open to a little bending.
  21. He's only saying what the fans have been saying for years.
