Lakeside V King's Lynn 03/04/15
tellboy replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Thinking of going to this now.Having seen the forecast has changed for the Thurrock area and it is just meant to be dull and grey.Hopefully the Stars will be able to brighten it up. -
Obviously had the permission of the MC again

Can't understand why Lynn don't use R/R for Porsing.Schlein,Lambert and Kerr x 2 can take his rides, would they not score more than Doolan. -

That to me is cheating and if this was to be allowed they then shouldn't be allowed to re-declare again, and made to use R/R until Watt is fit again. -
King's Lynn V Lakeside Tues 31st Sky 7.30
tellboy replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
While I agree with you on most occasions, you would have thought the likes of Lambert,Morris and Ellis would be making the mistakes and not SWC riders like you mentioned. These riders should have the experience to ride most tracks and yet these youngsters showed them how to ride the track. They have the experience to find the correct set ups but failed to do so. -

King's Lynn V Lakeside Tues 31st Sky 7.30
tellboy replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Don't quite agree with the glorified friendly and charging full price.I bet the riders didn't take a price cut,the energy company didn't let him have cheap electric for the night or food, drink, shale or the ref came at a discount.Maybe if he got all them on the cheap we may have got in for £16.50. At the end of the day we are customers like we are in almost every other sport. -

Must admit I have thought about not going for the first time on Tuesday. Is Sky really beneficial to league speedway bosses or just a few.Having said I have thought about not going I would say my daughter may have something to say about that -
Official Averages - Nothing On Bspa Site?
tellboy replied to krompa's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It's all on the BSPA site now. They have to carry through with how they done the calculations for the tier 1 riders I assume which was done using their PL averages.Don't know how they worked the tier 2 riders out though. -

Bothered about this trophy now you have won it are you .On the home leg thread you didn't seem to bothered as the real trophy is handed out in October Onto the meeting pretty poor really.Best race was the last with Iversen just getting by North on the last lap.Nice that North just give him enough room(unusual). Hope Porsing will be ok after that nasty looking tumble.Think Holder will be he just seemed to be a bit disinterested after his first heat fall. Would like to see the speedway season started mid April that was bloody cold tonight.Instead we start in March and have some nice Wednesday nights off in the summer with no racing. -
Rooboys Boomerang Invitational

Excellent meeting last night, enjoyed all the new fresh ideas introduced for this meeting.Commentator was great loved some of his sayings. No surprise to me that Bjerre won the flying lap time,we know he is one of the quickest out there when he has fresh air between him and other riders. Regarding track grading I assume they don't have to do so much with it this time of year once it has been prepared as all the moisture will stay in the track.Come the warmer weather we may see more. -
Hence why it is called press and practice day

Stars To Be Unveiled To The PressPosted on March 4th, 2015 On Wednesday, March 11, the 2015 King’s Lynn Stars will be unveiled to the local and national press at the Adrian Flux Arena. With the season just a few weeks away, excitement is starting to build as the club embarks on it’s 50th year. In the morning the Stars will get to know each other a little better when they travel to Poultec’s Outdoor Adventure Experience Centre for a range of fantastic activities. After an action packed morning, the team will head back to the Adrian Flux Arena for a private press session where they will be talking to reporters and having pictures taken for the season ahead. The gates to the Adrian Flux Arena will open to the public at 5pm at which time returnees Niels-Kristian Iversen, Kenneth Bjerre, Rory Schlein and also Robert Lambert, Nicklas Posring and Lewis Kerr will take to the famous race track for practice laps. Supporters will also get chance to see new arrival Ashley Morris for the first time since he joined as the clubs second Elite draft rider last week. Following the practice session, all seven members of the team along with manager Rob Lyon will be in the bar to meet up with supporters ahead of the new season. We hope you can join us.

Why is everyone getting so excited on this topic.Read the title of the topic and this is correct. Lynn topped the table with Darcys points taken away. BWitcher didn't mention the play-offs in his first post he/she merely stated that Lynn have now topped the table. How topics seem to alter over the course of a few pages.
-
Yes he missed the play-off on the weekend of the Torun Gp,but managed to get to Edinburgh the following weekend.
-
I'll bow down to your knowledge then. When I see him off track I just thought he was childish, certainly not doing the things he is doing now.Thought he was kept in check a bit more while his dad was with him at Lynn. Anyway we better get back on the topic.4 weeks until the first meeting at the Adrian Flux arena, looking forward to a great line up for the Rory Schlein testimonial.
-
Not now I agree, but at the time I'm sure he would have done.
-
Off track I think he was just doing childish things. And to be fair most 16 year olds do some silly things don't they. But in the last few years he has lost his way somewhat.I just hope someone can get him back on the straight and narrow and get him doing what he does best, riding a speedway bike. I think they sold him because to be fair he was ready for the EL and Lynn were still PL.If we were to go EL that year I would have bet Buster would have kept hold of him.
-
Why didn't they think about this before they released the fixtures.I now have to cancel my holiday on the 2nd of April and Hopefully be able to book the 31st of March.
-
Why not, surely all sponsorship is good.Especially with how little money there is in speedway.
-
Does Adrian Flux sponsor the stadium? We were coming by there today and my daughter thought she see a board saying welcome to the Adrian Flux stadium.

Rooboys Boomerang Invitational
tellboy replied to Tenbears's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Brilliant to see Emil on these shores again, even if it is for a short while. -
Well Lynn have 4 meetings in the weeks leading up to a GP,plus one to be confirmed against Poole. So out of the first 8 GPs Lynn could have 5 meetings in the same week. I haven't included the 4 GPs in September and October as this will be when the play-offs are so if Lynn are in them who knows how many meetings will be in the same week.Must be BSPA b****hit again
