Can only see a handsome home win.Our big hitters aren't hitting at the moment.Just Lambert and Schlein have been our brightest lights this season so far.Kerr had a good meeting last time out.

Looking purely at averages they have both seen their averages decreasing year on year since (2010 Bjerre apart from 2012) and (2011 Schlein).Personally I wouldn't get rid of any of those two.

Personally I would prefer Mads over Porsing.Porsing is having much easier rides and still struggles on many occasions.Porsing's average is near Schleins and I couldn't see Porsing cutting it at all at a heat leader spot.But if Schlein and Mads were to swap positions in the team I could see Mads holding his own as a heat leader and with Schlein at 2nd string wouldn't be bad neither.

Don't think any of those would average over 7 in a heat leader position,maybe Pepe.

Blimey just because he doesn't ride over here shouldn't mean he should not be allowed to ride for GB or the British titles.

Well I thought it was a decent meeting aswell.Ok you don't get overtakes in every heat but believe me this never happened in the past neither.I have often thought speedway was better in years gone by but when you look at old dvd's,videos some of these tell you a different story. Last night there was some close racing.Lambert and Wright had a cracking little duel with a bit of hard racing.North was hard but fair.Why point out a rider like NKI could make no impression,when the fact was Morris gated and never put a foot wrong,and indeed he was fast.Thought Bjerre and Harris had a good race too.Seems to me Bjerre will race against someone he knows he can trust on the track. Well the group of us seemed to think there was some good fought battles out there.

That's what I was thinking.

So hopefully by rights they should use their Pl averages for the rest of the season,but will they?

Whats wrong with showing you are patriotic.So what its not the main issue but its still an issue.Will you be telling all the Poles that descend on Cardiff to join a majorette club. That's a problem with this country at the moment some of our own people don't want us to show that we are patriotic,but will let others do as they please. Ps sorry I didn't criticise on the main thing

Didn't think heat 15 counted towards averages.

Good close meeting tonight.Some very hard and good racing aswell SL.Was expecting it to be close to be honest as the top 5 from both teams looked evenly balanced.Thought the reserves would have won it for us tonight but how wrong was I.So it was good that the top 5 scored well for us tonight or else we could have quite easily have lost. Don't know why Fricke didn't acknowledge Lambert when he beat him in ht 5 Lambert tried pinning him on bend 1 and they clashed and then Fricke clashed into him on the back straight to even it up.Nicholls was brilliant in his last 3 races. Hopefully Swindon will provide the same amount of entertainment in a couple of weeks.

In between 1st/2nd bend from there it actually looked like they were stopping on the bends.Then we went around and took in races from the back straight and then in between bends 3/4 and the final race on bend 4.Maybe its just not my cup of tea having watched speedway at Lynn all my life and on occasions at Peterborough which both are totally to Lakeside.

I must admit I missed the first 2 races,whether there were overtakes in that I don't know.But for the remaining 13 races I can remember I think 3-4 mainly due to mistakes the 2 overtakes in the 2nd reserves race was first a mistake from Boxall and then from Kerr to let him back through.Couldn't see how Lambert passed Boxall.Like somebody said Bjerre had a good race with Jonsson but he wasn't going to move off the blue groove so Bjerre was never going to go by in a month of Sundays. I do believe Lakeside actually comes over better on the TV than it does actually being there.

Well I can see why l haven't been for so many years.Daughter and missus came here for the first time and said not again thanks.Best race had to be the second reserves race.

Thanks for the updates Bryn.Haven't been to Lakeside since the Arena Essex days never really enjoyed my times watching the racing there(may have something to do with Lynn getting stuffed every time)Nothing else to do today so what the hell at least we should be more competitive than we were in those dark times
