  1. The BSPA would rather do something petty like fine a rider for coming out in the wrong helmet colour, than to grow some balls and fine/ban the pi*stakers.
  2. Shame about Kerr being hurt again,he always seems to have an off at Newcastle. Pity we couldn't get Garrity to fill his place, apparently he goes like a heatleader around Monmore I'm sure Worrall will be fine though.
  3. If Matt Ford has said this i think he is a bit out of order concerning his own riders. He is saying Ward will be back in the Poole side if they can fit him in.So the riders there at the moment are in jeopardy of being pushed aside awaiting a rider to replace one of them.
  4. To be honest he should stick with King anyway now he has asked him to guest.
  5. Virtually the same team,3 riders are different that's nearly half the team.If Kerr and Porsing were to score what Blackbird and Fricke scored that night then I could see Lynn winning,20+4 from 9 rides they scored. Can you see Porsing and Kerr scoring that?Your reserves were your weak point that night aswell.Lynn happened to go to Wolves where the choice of guests won us the match. If the 4 remaining riders scored what they scored last year then Lynn would still require 14 points to get a draw.14 points from Kerr,Porsing and Morris doesn't look so simple now.
  6. I couldn't see that on the statement on the Poole website
  7. His average should still be 8.22 for the month of June as he hasn't rode in any matches since the May averages, and he isn't due to ride any more before the June averages are calculated. As Ward isn't due back until the end of June it will be Janowski's July average that would be important if Poole do want to bring Ward back in for him.
  8. Stevebrum I normally like most of your posts, but you seem to be taking a leaf out of Shovlars book with this one by getting the excuses in early just in case you don't win.
  9. Now is the time for the BSPA to show some balls and refuse Poole a facility. This is taking the mickey once again.Although not entirely Pooles fault,he is their rider and they should keep their house in order. I hope I am wrong because I like Janowski, but I had a feeling with him being in the GPs this year he may go A.W.O.L a few times.I hope this is the one and only time and he proves me wrong.Only time will tell.
  10. Maybe they should call this meeting off unless they can find adequate cover.Afterall they don't want to be seen as robbing the paying public if they cant put out a decent team
  11. I thought some of the racing was good last night. All of Lamberts races were good.Thorsell with Porsing and then Kerr.Schleins battle with Lindgren.Even Howarth had the cheek to muller Iversen into one bend only for Iverersen to repay the favour on the next. That's 7 out of 15 that aint to bad, could be better, but it wasn't as bad as some people are making out.I bet Schlein wished he didn't let Lindgren have room to pass him down the back straight because the very next lap he certainly stopped Rory having any room to pass in the same place.Bit more ruthless next time please Rory . Onto Porsing,I would hope to see Mads in for him come June.He shouldn't be beaten at home by the oppositions reserves and it wasn't like he was even with them to make a chance of an overtake. He has been very poor this season.Last season he had a brief spell 3-4 weeks where he was good, but the rest of the season he was just ordinary.
  12. You are quite right.Alot of people are getting excited about Schlein riding but as you point out it is basically a challenge meeting. As I stated somewhere I think it was Vaculik that rode for Czech Republic last year. The way I look at it is at least an up and coming Brit would have gained some experience out of this by riding against some of the top riders in the world.
  13. Or Vaculik I think it was that rode in one of the rounds last year for the Czech Republic
  14. Not in my book.I'm just peed off we always seem to get postponements when I am on days and can make the meeting .Managed to wangle days next week though so hoping for better weather
  15. His good form continued today in Lonigo by winning the SGP qualifier on 13 points
  16. Davey Watt did start on an average of 6.71 which was lower. So I am assuming come the May averages when all riders were adjusted to the 20 matches rode,Davey Watts had to be adjusted aswell regardless of whether he had any league meetings this season. Personally I think the averages at the start of the season should have been based on the 20 matches, not the 28 and then change it after the first month.
  17. Only Worrall or Wright to go with by the looks of it if Newman is unavailable.Having said that Wright is in the same meeting as Starke on Monday so would be unavailable aswell.
  18. Whether he was ill or not,how can the BSPA crack down on this sort of thing when they do it themselves.Promoters from Belle Vue and Poolex2 in the last few seasons have had a meeting called off because of unavailability of one of their star riders with no facility being allowed. So they cannot crack down on riders doing this until they sort themselves out first.
  19. How could you say Mads and Porsing are like for like.Mads has done it at heat leader something I couldn't see Porsing doing.Yes their averages are similar but you have to remember Mads was riding against heatleaders. If Porsing rode in one of those positions I wouldn't mind betting he wouldn't achieve a 4.5 average
  20. Exactly what I said about a week ago.Mads to replace Porsing would be great in my book.People keep banging on about Bjerre but I think Porsing has been a big let down in what is meant to be an easier format for him.He has only had a few good meetings in the middle of last season and that's it. Mads at second string would be great,he wouldn't be getting bullied by Nielsen like Porsing did up at Belle Vue.Mads average is low because he was heat leader last season in what is a tough position now at 1,3 or 5. I would give Bjerre a few more meetings to sort things out because we know what he is capable of,but if he don't get sorted would Tai come back and ride for Lynn?We would have less than 20 meetings left then.
  21. Because he deserved it on his brilliant showing tonight. And even though he came last he was in a great race with all four in contention. In fact I thought he took 3rd from Harris and nearly got Kylmakorpi on the line.He was put in heat 15 on merit not what he had done in heat 15s in the past.
  22. I think we only have a 3 man team at the moment Bjerre struggling,Iversen most definitely nowhere near his best,Porsing easily beaten by 2nd strings and sometimes reserves, and poor Morris seems to have totally lost his confidence. That leaves Lambert who's been brilliant for us,Schlein has been ok and Kerr who has been in and out. You do pretty well at home, and i would think Coventry's track is pretty much a similar size to the NA
