I too think Cook is the best available,maybe Fricke he was good early in the season although riding at 2nd string. One thing is for sure we are going to miss Rory's scoring at home.

Think he's an attention seeker myself.

To be fair it wouldn't have been unrealistic for Schlein to score 12 instead of 8,Bjerre to score 7 instead of 3 and Kerr to score 8 instead of 4.Thats an extra 12 points,that would have made it more interesting .It's all if and buts,we may have won there if we had a full team,we might not have.This is one thing nobody will ever know.

Hopefully Coventry will declare when they hit 50 No disrespect to MPT but he's no Rory Schlein.

Can't believe this comment.I have not seen the photo but I am assuming there is no cuts and bruises etc.Do you need to have these to have a problem?the answer is no.I remember breaking my fingers a few years ago and guess what I had no signs what so ever apart from a great deal of pain.

Not if Schlein isn't racing.Hope he is ok after taking a journey to hospital in Poland today. Not many options as guests neither,the best ones I can see are Fricke or Zengota. If Schlein isn't fit what would be the best option a guest or R/R.

All this talk about Janowski upping his average to get Ward back is crazy in my eyes.Matt Ford maybe looking into this change,but surely if Janowski has upped his average by that much he would be the man I would want to keep in my team. I'm afraid Ward isn't the be all and end all of everything Poole is he. I think people do expect to much at times.It seems some people want overtaking in every race,this has never happened and it wont ever happen.I thought it was decent after the first 6 or so heats.

Can't you go for C.Wright or C.Wilkinson,both at Scunny in the afternoon but could make it back for Leicester in time.Auty did at the beginning of the month against Lynn.

Roynon indeed does replace Kerr on Monday.

Not saying you wouldn't have picked Newman,but if he was further up the list as he would have been.you wouldn't have got second pick of the second set of riders.So no doubt wouldn't have got Starke.

Oh well.So this now makes a mockery of how the picks were done at the start of the season then.As i would assume the orders would have been totally different.Poole come up smelling of roses again,as would assume Newman would have been in the top 2 of picks instead of the lowly pick he was placed at.

How could this be.Thought the top reserves were based on their PL averages.Or is this now being changed to suit.

Good result for Lynn on the road.Think as Bagpuss said the wet track may indeed have helped Lynn and of course the superb haul from Worrall.The reserves were the difference just like the last time we were down there. Now,just to get Mads in for Porsing and I thnk that would make Lynn serious contenders for the play-off final.

The BSPA would rather do something petty like fine a rider for coming out in the wrong helmet colour,than to grow some balls and fine/ban the pi*stakers.

Shame about Kerr being hurt again,he always seems to have an off at Newcastle. Pity we couldn't get Garrity to fill his place,apparently he goes like a heatleader around Monmore I'm sure Worrall will be fine though.

Virtually the same team,3 riders are different that's nearly half the team.If Kerr and Porsing were to score what Blackbird and Fricke scored that night then I could see Lynn winning,20+4 from 9 rides they scored.Can you see Porsing and Kerr scoring that?Your reserves were your weak point that night aswell.Lynn happened to go to Wolves where the choice of guests won us the match. If the 4 remaining riders scored what they scored last year then Lynn would still require 14 points to get a draw.14 points from Kerr,Porsing and Morris doesn't look so simple now.

His average should still be 8.22 for the month of June as he hasn't rode in any matches since the May averages,and he isn't due to ride any more before the June averages are calculated.As Ward isn't due back until the end of June it will be Janowski's July average that would be important if Poole do want to bring Ward back in for him.

Stevebrum I normally like most of your posts,but you seem to be taking a leaf out of Shovlars book with this one by getting the excuses in early just in case you don't win.

I thought some of the racing was good last night.All of Lamberts races were good.Thorsell with Porsing and then Kerr.Schleins battle with Lindgren.Even Howarth had the cheek to muller Iversen into one bend only for Iverersen to repay the favour on the next. That's 7 out of 15 that aint to bad,could be better,but it wasn't as bad as some people are making out.I bet Schlein wished he didn't let Lindgren have room to pass him down the back straight because the very next lap he certainly stopped Rory having any room to pass in the same place.Bit more ruthless next time please Rory . Onto Porsing,I would hope to see Mads in for him come June.He shouldn't be beaten at home by the oppositions reserves and it wasn't like he was even with them to make a chance of an overtake.He has been very poor this season.Last season he had a brief spell 3-4 weeks where he was good,but the rest of the season he was just ordinary.

You are quite right.Alot of people are getting excited about Schlein riding but as you point out it is basically a challenge meeting.As I stated somewhere I think it was Vaculik that rode for Czech Republic last year. The way I look at it is at least an up and coming Brit would have gained some experience out of this by riding against some of the top riders in the world.

Or Vaculik I think it was that rode in one of the rounds last year for the Czech Republic
