  1. Yes it was a great gesture, and nice to see some of them there to present Rory with the money.
  2. Good performance from the top 4 tonight. We need to keep winning at home, but we will have much tougher opposition next week in Belle Vue.Can't let them have any points if that's possible. Iversen was outstanding tonight missed one gate in heat 13.But he soon reeled in Freddie. Porsing is carrying on his form of the last few weeks. Fricke a great replacement for Lambert. Bjerre was very good at what we know he's best at Gating, but was also quick too.Iversen was only 0.23 outside the track record but Bjerre also was only 0.30 outside the record. Morris was ok if he didn't fall in heat 4 he would have had a paid 5. I think Kerr struggled with the grippier conditions tonight. Can't really comment on Wolves apart from they are really poor and will be lucky not to finish bottom of the pile this season. What did make me happy was seeing a rider come around after he had completed his rides and wave to the crowd and taking the applause.Well done Tobiasz Musielak.
  3. Don't he play cricket I see Fricke is guesting for Lambert and it is R/R for Milik.
  4. Not a lot of choice out there to replace Lambert and Milik. All I can see are Cook,Josh.G,Fricke,Kylmakorpi and Zengota.Would it be wise to let Brady Kurtz have a go. We need to win all our home matches to make sure we finish in the play-offs. If Bjerre was in form I think we would still win,but the way he is riding at the moment this could now be a toughie, especially with Lambert and Milik missing.
  5. Well another good weekend spent down in Wales. Again disappointed with the fanzone being where it is now, well to cramped, just nip through there now and get a programme.Sad to see no entertainment neither in the stadium. But didn't let that put me off just had a couple more beers instead Although gate 1 had a huge advantage I still enjoyed the racing.Although when I got home and watched the re-run the racing was actually a lot closer than it seemed in the stadium. At the end NKI was a deserved winner and proved if you were set up right you didn't need to be off gate 1.Would liked to have seen Tai win,but when it was obvious he wasn't going to get anywhere I had to cheer on the Lynn man . Roll on July next year
  6. What do you mean missing the point again? This is the first time I have said anything on this subject
  7. Thanks for that.I must have watched it about 5 times now. That was a great race from Lambert,i don't know what people thought of me because I went back 25 years shouting and punching the air with delight. It's amazing what happens when the match was so tight and its the team everyone wants to beat.
  8. While I agree the crowd looked healthy for it being on Sky.Did Leicester make more money from it,i very much doubt this.Because if they did then surely there would be price reductions at every match and not just those on Sky.
  9. Star lady you do seem to hold a grudge against King's Lynn for some reason. There were some decent races tonight, especially heat 15.I went to the EOES on Sunday and that was pretty poor with the exception of MPT.Was there an atmosphere there, maybe a little in the stand because most of the fans congregate there. Anyway at least 6 races with passing which probably beats a lot of EL league televised meetings. Iversen still not as convincing as he should by his standards,Porsing getting better,Milik will be fine,Lambert brilliant for a 17 year old, reserves are ok.Now Bjerre I have defended him this season but now I think is the time to get rid,but is there a rider willing to come.Could get over an 8 pointer in for him if anybody wants do do a few meetings. Also nice to catch up with Tom and Romana again.Maybe Tom could dust down the old Kevlars and replace Bjerre
  10. There's not much choice to replace Auty unfortunately,Birks maybe.Couple of days time you will be able to have Kerr to guest for Auty in the July draft but that doesn't help you tonight. Lets hope Wilkinson can stay on his bike tonight,he was awful at Lynn last Thursday.
  11. Hoping for a Poole win tonight .Only to help Lynn secure a top 4 place that be easier of course
  12. Robert Lambert replaces Walasek. Needs to get his gating form back from earlier in the season if he is score plenty of points for you Lions.
  13. Well thought I would make a trip to this as it was £15 and thought I would get good value for money.Bit disappointed really didn't think the racing was that good. Was it down to it being an afternoon meeting and the track kept drying out so quick.Maybe it didn't seem to good as it wasn't my team racing. There was the odd good race after the early heats. MPT was the star of the show to me,you always thought he give them to much of a head start to be able to reel them back in.Without Toft I think this would have been a pretty dire meeting.
  14. Looking at the BSPA website Greenwood is still in the Peterborough 1-7,Konopka is not in any 1-7 so I wouldn't look at that as being up to date. You should know by now the BSPA are behind everybody else in terms of being up to date with anything.
  15. Well I assume they are reverting back to the original line-up then.If so they will be able to use a guest I think. Thinking about it,it cant be a re-declaration as Swindon would have re-declared over the points limit.
  16. Was it a re-declaration,or just reverting back to the original line-up.Didn't PK come in as an injury replacement. Not sure what the situation was concerning this.Has AM actually done a meeting for Swindon yet?
  17. Can you have 3 riders with an average above 7.Hans still has an average above 7 for the month of July. I'm sure the regs said the latest date for team changes was August 28th with the effective date being the 31st
  18. He was bloody exciting to watch.Heart in mouths a couple of times with his braveness and balls of steel.Stood down the home straight when he went by AJ I just didn't think there was any room.I half turned my head expecting a big crash.Great debut and hopefully will carry on this never say die attitude which he will I am sure. Everybody played their part yesterday with Morris and Lambert being our lowest scorers on paid 8 says it all really.Although Lambert would have scored more had AJ got excluded instead of him.Plain as day in my book AJ give Lambert a shove into Kennett and Lambert ex. The two that was under pressure for their places Bjerre and Porsing scored well last night, but it was against the poor travelling Lakeside was it enough to keep their places? A sterner test next week but we must keep winning if we are to get into the top 4.
  19. Have to agree. While I am not a big fan of Tatum you wouldn't want to hear him say negative things which wouldn't entice any newbies along. To me it did serve up some good racing and most definitely was on par or even better than most EL matches on Sky this season.
  20. Well looking at the half term averages Coventry,Lynn and Swindon all in the running for the top 4 can strengthen up considerably. These rolling averages seem to help teams in good positions already.
  21. Your right theres nothing better than actually being there watching it.But as Peterborough aren't my supported club I will watch it on telly. If they were to give a discount along the lines of what Swindon done I would have bought the whole family down along the A47 to watch.
  22. Oh well,i'll watch this one on Sky then. Thanks for the info.
  23. Is the admission for the general public discounted or is it the normal price?
  24. Might be as the cut off date is tomorrow I believe.
