Kerr said he will be back next season. Will Lambert be back? Undoubtedly Bjerre was poor,but the FTR's have such an impact on results nowadays I feel we really missed him towards the end.

Think though our failure started when Kerr got injured.Unfortunately as a FTR you cant replace these like for like so this kind of failure needs to be looked at,at the AGM. OK there could of been other changes but this one has cost us dear i'm afraid(the loss of Kerr)

True no play-offs for Lynn,but whats the point of being in them if you don't win it.Which I'm afraid is exactly whats going to happen to Peterborough

If Doyle was there Lynn would have won,i'm sure Doyle would have refused to ride

Doyle for Iversen,Masters for Milik and S.Lambert for Kerr then for Wednesday.

Because his average would be too high to replace Kildemand.Any way Coventry are riding as mdmc82 has said. Hopefully Janowski for Iversen would be nice and maybe Thorsell again for Milik.For Kerr I suppose it would have to be Wilko again if he hasn't rode the 4 matches yet.

We need a few more Pepe Franc's at our tracks.Whether he would win or lose he seemed to come around waving to the fans.And the fans did seem to react to that,but that was the PL days.

Wow they was a great bit of average reducing for next season from the Lynn riders.This has not been seen in the world of speedway since the saga of Troy Batchelor Seriously looked to be a great night for Poole,and probably spurred on from the injury stricken Darcy Ward(best wishes to him). From a Lynn point of view just going by their scores only Lambert and Lawson can come away with any credit.Can't believe Iversen only beating North from the opposition in 1 race,incidentally the same as Bjerre . Well the season is hanging by a thread now and will probably be cut on Monday when Belle Vue go to Wolves.Its a shame that injuries have certainly played a part in King's Lynn's demise this season but that's speedway i suppose.

I too would like to see more English riders given the opportunity,is there any about at the moment though?Think we may have to wait a couple of years to get the stocks up first but there are some coming through I believe.I wouldn't mind a step back to the PL but there seems to be just as many foreigners in that too. I tell you what as well,it isn't just speedway where some foreigners don't seem to put in to much effort and keep their jobs ahead of the English.But that's a job for the government to sort out

You make it sound easy to ride a speedway bike.Maybe we should have replaced Bjerre with you just to see how you would get on.Obviously you would have been at number 1 in no time And Starlady you mention about mending/replacing your weak link,is it that easy to bring in new riders now?I don't think it is because Buster would have done that i'm sure.How many other weak links have been replaced in other teams,not many because as you well know not many riders want to come here anymore.It's easy with many posters on here,myself included at times saying lets get so and so but if they don't want to come you cant make them.

I did say when we went EL that I was used to PL and it didn't really bother me about EL.Although I would turn up as it was speedway the sport I grew up with,the era when all the best riders were over here.Boy was I lambasted by a few because I said I preferred PL. I enjoyed the regularity and different teams each week,riders that wanted to ride and was there every week bar injury. By the way agree totally with your post.

In my opinion this thread has gone a long way off of being a King's Lynn thread anymore.Can't we start another thread for all this jibber jabber and just continue this one as a King's Lynn related thread.

There didn't seem much difference in the track of ht 10 in the original meeting to the start of ht 1 in this meeting.The only thing different was Bomber replacing Doyle,and Bomber will race any conditions. We were very slow starting tonight but got better.Conditions weren't ideal but hey all riders gave it their best shot. One massive decision got wrong by Turnbull though which in the end cost Lynn the match.Heat 5 yes Porsing should have been excluded for his fall entering turn 1 of lap 3,but Wilkinson was an absolute mile ahead,well the length of the straight anyway why this wasn't awarded I will never know. Oh well onwards and upwards I'm going for Lynn to win at Poole tomorrow night 60-30 so not to worry anyway

Sunshine here again,but looking at the Southgates webcam it looks like they have now had the shower. Best get on my way now as I have not heard of a call off yet.
