  1. Sorry, maybe i should have said a few days at least then.Depends i where you come from i suppose.I rang Monday morning and there was no spaces then.Did try ringing about 10 times on Sunday thinking someone maybe available as it is SWC week but no answer.
  2. If that is the car park at the school that was sold out a while ago. I'm going to park at the Etihad, 8 minutes by bus or a 20 minute walk away.So if it's a nice day should be a pleasant walk.
  3. Thought they were both as guilty as each other.Jonsson knew what he was doing,he wanted to finish behind Doyle and Doyle wanted to finish behind Jonsson. If Jonsson had gated you would have had the same thing at the end of the race.Either exclude them both or just let this sort of thing carry on.
  4. So if they all turned up Monday, and got the set up for the track then.Come Saturday and the track is completely different,Monday's set up would have been a complete waste of time.As Rosco said it was completely down to the riders whether they wanted to come or not.So i respect what he said, afterall he is the team GB manager and he makes the decisions regarding the team not us.
  5. He has been left out. In response to the thread title.Yes Tai should ride.Just because he doesn't ride here doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to represent his country. Just think of all the sportsmen/women form all around the world that ply their trades in different countries to their own,but still turn out for their countries. The fans want to see the best for their country surely.
  6. Well that takes the mick, rang up yesterday for standing tickets and they had sold out bar 1.So had to have seats surely thats not on making someone spend more than they have too.
  7. Thanks, hoping to be there for about 1pm on Saturday hopefully they are running then.
  8. How far is the Etihad from the track, how long will it take? What time is the earliest they leave for the track? This to me seems to be the easiest way of doing it.
  9. Is their any standing room left? Should really put what tickets have sold out on the SWC website.
  10. With you on that.Chiquito's for breakfast, then more great speedway from the PL boys hopefully.
  11. I was emailed back(Linda Jones) and the cheques are being posted next week.
  12. There is always a chance but being a realist our matches at home against Poole are going to be very tough and they could end up in home losses.Yes we have an away match at Leicester but we scraped a draw there last time out. For us to get into the top 4 i would like to see Lakeside and Swindon lose at least another match at home to give us a better sniff.
  13. Don't think we can make the top four.I think we need to win our remaining home matches and 2 away at least to get a sniff.Looking at our remaining matches i don't think its possible.
  14. So basically you are saying Buster was only doing what the riders asked/instructed for him to do.How would that be Busters fault?Obviously the riders thought Buster could get it sorted if they kept telling him what they wanted. Wasn't the referee Mick Bates.
  15. It amazes me the amount of people that knew it should have been called off after the event but not before..Hindsight is a wonderful thing but none of us have that. I can just imagine if Buster sat there and not attempted to do anything with the track and just called it off.The same fans would moan oh Buster didn't try anything to get this meeting on and whinge and moan about that. Unfortunately last night we got caught out by mother nature, and none of us can do anything about her. The promotion have done an honourable thing and are letting the supporters into another meeting with their tickets.Which if you look into the terms of your tickets you would have only been entitled to £6 back last night.
  16. Well my tickets were signed for yesterday, didn't recognise the name though.Wasn't in the programme or on their website.Guess we will just have to wait and seen the outcome now.
  17. Don't want to be,have to be at work at 21:45 tonight. Apart from a nice cold beer that is .But not on a work night
  18. Oh rubbish. So i have to spend £40-50 on a jacket or something to say i'm supporting my team.I go to watch my team and spend £51 on admission alone on most weeks thats support enough thankyou. How often to you go and spend money to support your team.# Oh i have a pen that cost me a £1 last week as i forgot to take my plain pen with no speedway emblazoned on it. I have spent plenty on my speedway team over the last 30 years without having to spend more on clothing etc. This dosen't make me a lesser supporter of my team to anyone else.
