  1. I don't know everything reguarding Aj. But from what ive seen this year he's been very calm when being excluded in the gp's. He's the one that just accepts it, and says well what can you do ect... He has every right to go off on one tonight imho, it was clear first bend bunching. Not that many get excluded in the turn
  2. Go on then, like what? Poor in the final granted, but normally all 4 back isn't it.? Personaly i like the way the ref was holding the tapes so no rider got an advantage from any rollers.
  3. THANK YOU NIKKI PEDERSON. My bet of 50 pounds at 38-1 before the start of the season on him world championship. I was right. You do the math
  4. Imho... the racing was no worse, or indeed no better. Cardiff seriously lacked the atmosphere this year thou... maybe the choice of 70's rock music over the party tacks they played to the hilt the years before had something to do with it. Ohh and the build up to the final... i allways thought that robbies 'let me entertain you' was a suberb climaxing peice of music, this year we didn't get that, and sure the tractor didn't help Well that was my opinion after leaving the stadium anyway, it was atmosphere over the racing, because the racing was no different. Best racing iv'e seen this year was at stoke... wonder if we can fit those 40000 seats there
  5. First.......... Tonight was a discrace, heads should roll. Second...... From being at cardiff the last 3 years, Take stadium gp's away at your perill. Entertaiment value alone when going to speedway gp's is what it's all about, and yes first timers do return from what they see at the Gp's. And some even venture out to speedway tracks on a weekly basis because of going to a high profile event such as the cardiff gp. The only people that seem to dislike these venues, and the racing it produces are the week in week out speedway fans.. and your right, They return anyway
  6. Great win for the sweden... Why on earth isn't the competiton heading to sweden itself next year.. With a world championship winning team, what seems like great, growing support everytime i see crowd figures and tv pictures, just why isn't the competiton heading to sweden next year? Doesn't seem very fair to me.
  7. Fully agreed. I remember being at shefield last year when Joe had just won a heat, he came round the first bend after the finish and about ripped the throttle off. The guy in my eyes clearly works on confidence. It's a mistake indeed not taking screen imho/
  8. Won't be going. More the pity, but hey im not rich Riders, same again will do for me. Being the first gp of the season hopefully the poles will pack the place out, and it will make for good tv. Go nicki P ;-)
  9. Trust me i wouldn't have said it last year. But this year i dunno, maybe, maybe not, i guess he just has to get firing again i spose. Unsure, but id still say he's far from complete, well as complete as you need to be in the gp's anyway. Umm, i just look at how riders like scotty and Cegielski wern't exactly setting it alight for a chunk of the series last year. There realy must be a bigger step to take in the gp's, because those two are genuine class. Still i think (hope) the series will be realy close this year. It has the potential to be, on paper it's so close cut it's unreal.
  10. Im no expert. But what would these riders bring to the Gp series? Rico aside, where are the genuine stars here.. Pepe been there done it, ulamek the same. Lee's only there doing a lucas, and the rest, janniro included ain't nearly up to the standard. Maybe im wrong, but the field from the laymans eyes, looks a little weak. I couldn't see anyone but the 3 iv'e mentioned getting past the early heats in a gp.
