LATVIAN SGP 2006 PHOTOS

Hi all. The weather isnt stable. It was raining fast all the day today, but it stopped exactly before a practise time. Track conditions wasnt great. Anyway all the riders took part in practice. Have a look at some stuff of myself : Photos of Latvian SGP practice P.S. Now it isnt raining.

@ f-s-p Banzai nightclub is quite good. Cute ladies, cheap drinks, 2 dancefloors. There is another serious club on the 12th floor of the Latgola hotel - "Rotko bar". Its more expensive, but its calmly there. I would recommend also "Dimanta Bingo" entertainment complex and "Klondaika bouling" (one of the sponsors of our GP and the main sponsor of our "wild card" - Kjastas Puodzuks). Have a great time.

@ Joanne At first it was sheduled on 17.September, now its 24.September, the main reason could be unavailability of some riders from Daugavpils to participate on 17.September.

@ f-s-p i'm afraid there arent "Lido" restaurants available in Daugavpils. There are a lot of tasty food in places like : "Dimanta Bingo" (near the bus station) and in "City Center" entertainment complex. Just remember Viestura street - there are so many shops and eating places, dont forget to visit central street - Rigas Street, it goes through the "Latgola" hotel, where fast all GP riders will enjoy the night in Daugavpils and of course the Fortress of Daugavpils. It could be from +10 - +25. This year has really cold winter, it means, summer will be hotter than even, must be at least +20 on GP day!

anyway the cheapest prizes are provided by Ryanair, just book in june-july to get them for 15-30 pounds (including taxes)

Hey lads, its no reason to panic about hotels. I just wanna let you know, that there appeared 3 modern hotels (since WTC qualification round in may). One of them is very, very close to the stadium, its situated just one block away. So, this moment is nearly finished. Yeah, i agree Daugavpils is not Riga (our capital city), but dont worry about it, there are some worth visiting places here. And one thing is clear : nightlife is amazing here : 4 night clubs. One of them the biggest club in Latvia - Banzai . Here you can find probably da best girls (women) .. just have some money to get a coctail for them. Welcome in Daugavpils:) Best regards, Andrey.

reasons to come to Daugavpils, if there will be GP next year : real girls, good beer, super stadium, friendly people, speedway atmosphere enjoy.
