Away goals have never counted double! If scores are level on aggregate, the team that has scored the most away goals wins. A lot of people talk about them counting double, but it is a nonsense. If this was the case then losing 2-1 away and drawing 0-0 ah home would make it 2-2.

There are quite often old meetings for sale on e-bay. My husband used to work for Mike Bennett who I believe has a back catalogue from MK (Both venues), Long Eaton, Rye House, Wimbledon, Newcastle, Bradford, King's Lynn, Wolverhampton, Mildenhall (Old circuit) and odd meetings from Berwick (Lough) and others.

Oliver's Mount is a purpose built race track situated on a hill in Scarborough. It is used about three to four times a year, mostly by the same guys who do the TT. It used to be a Championship circuit, however take a visit there and you will see why it isn't now. The circuit is used as a public road at all other times. If you get the chance - check out the racing there its unbelievable.

The old stadium steps were still there when we last went to Millwall.

Not quite right. Tesco's was built before the Stadium was demolished. The Stadium was on the land now occupied by B and Q. If you go on the grass next to the store and look carefully you may see some remains of the old track.

Tony initially had trials at Mildenhall before moving on.

The best days were when Paul Bonner produced the shows. Commentators included Rob McCaffrey, Edwin Overland, Dave Lanning and pit interviewers Mike Bennett, Chris French. Speedway had a BL / NL match of the week show in those days. After disappearing for a few years, Tommy Rander returned showing internationals and Swedish League. Clive Fisher being the main commentator with Mike Bennett as pit interviewer. Myself, my brother and Warwick Mead from Wolverhampton were amongst the many cameramen used.
