Got back late last night from what was an excellent trip lots of excellent locally brewed bier, brilliant food and top laughs oh and 3 great cheap hotels. Stadium was excellent, organisation was pants,track was like a train track,had a female Eastie fan in front of me waving a danish flag in my face most of the meeting who moaned at me for saying' taxi for pedersen' shame I couldnt understand a word she said due to me not understanding Danish well not the sussex version anyway. All in all a good weekend despite the speedway.....thanks Ole

Got our tickets booked.....same seats as this year,happy memories!!!!! as for the last 4 years will be camping out at Lavernock point where the craic is mighty.

Long scary drive from Riga to Daugavpils think i will take the train next time. It turned out to be quite a good show in a town that possibly had never seen a tourist before never mind several thousand speedway fans. We walked into one bar near to the stadium and you would have thought we were martians judging by their reactions to us. Riga is totally the opposite with the locals being very friendly and the female population very easy on the eye. anyway 2 more days to go before we fly back so back to the partying!!!!

a mixed group of 7 of us from Cov Wigan and Scotland going to this we will be staying in Riga and driving down for the Gp. Flight back is on sept 11th bit of an ass twitcher.
