You ever been to charity shop, and asked for charity?

Says it all...

How on earth did you let Nordin slip in there?

I never had a problem with DJ, but he was one rider who just seemed totally incapable of team riding!

I'm glad you said something! I've been wanting to say that, but I didn't want to have to deal with the responses... Why should a rider have to go down in order to get something done? People whine about those who drop the bike too easily, but if you've been given a hefty whack and fought to stay on, why should you be the one penalised?

Oh, so it's not a new thing then???

We complain about some of the things that go on today, but we had a lot of stupid stuff going on back then, particularly with R/R. We used it in early 1976 for Christer Lofqvist - even though we knew he was never going to ride for us...

I thought the same - until I read it! When the first thing stated in an obituary states that you disagreed with that person, that's not good... -
Aye, Tony; always remember his "Rising to the Occasion" in the Wimbledon progs. I don't think I ever actually met him, but it is very sad. Like others have mentioned, I'd been wondering why he had been missing from here recently. R.I.P. Phil

Sorry mate, seems you are right! I honestly can't remember that...

No, Egon was at Hull in 1976.

Funny, isn't it? There were six rounds of the 2020 GP in Poland - and Zmarzlik only won two of those (but won the two in Prague!) There were three rounds of the 2019 GP in Poland - and Zmarzlik only finished on the rostrum once in those... There were three rounds of the 2018 GP in Poland - and not one of them was won by a Pole (even though three GP's had Polish winners) There were three rounds of the 2017 GP in Poland - and only one was one by a Pole. (even though five GP's had Polish winners) There were three rounds of the 2016 GP in Poland - and not one was won by a Pole - yet a Pole won in Denmark There were three rounds of the 2015 GP in Poland - and not one was won by a Pole - yet a Pole won in Latvia You want to remind us how it's the Polish tracks that decide the winners, and not the quality of rider???
