That's a pretty crappy comment, don't you think? 1) The rules are posted at the top of the page. 2) The rules have NEVER changed. The site was only ever designed to represent solos. Hence no trace of sidecar fatalities. 3) It's MY site, and I make the rules. If you want to start one that includes people you wish, please feel free.

He actually won a fair percentage of his races - when he didn't fall or break the tapes... You never knew what to expect from him!

Not just in the UK; I myself have been accused of "white privilege" on several occasions. A few years ago, a mate of mine applied for a job at a university. He had all the qualifications, and would have been a perfect fit. He didn't get it, and they didn't fill the position. Why? Because they didn't receive enough applications from minorities! How is that "white privilege"? Of course it's wrong to be denied a job because you're not white - but why is it not wrong to be denied one because you are? Particularly when EVERYONE has the same opportunity to apply?

Please note that it is all solos, not sidecars.

Why is my comment "unfounded"? You don't know many riders from the last 50 years, and you admit that you don't follow the sport now. Why should I think you would know someone like Danny Ayres?

It has absolutely nothing to do with "happenings" at Rye House. It is a group where YOU basically just share a few photos, and post links to your websites/pages.

For some reason, Gote was often overlooked when the "top" riders were being discussed. When you look at his record, it was pretty damn impressive!

Ah!!! I was a little surprised to see Pander in there, particularly knowing that he had those injuries. Of course, Ronnie Moore missed most of the 1960's too, but he still did enough the rest of the time to warrant his place. I know much of McKinlay's success came in domestic events, but his averages clearly show he had the beating of most of his opponents. I just would have expected him in there, Thanks.
