Leszno Gp May 10th 2008
double_0 replied to Blazeaway's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Just back from my first speedway meeting in Poland since Katowice in 1979. Great stadium, well presented and superb atmosphere. Only slight negative was the slickness of the track....and quite a few Poles next to us agreed.....but still served up some good races. Crump very hard done by in the semi final. Already looking forward to Bydgoszcz and Zielona Gora in september. -

3 of us landing at Poznan about 11 sat morning and hired a car to get us to Leszno. Few questions for the Polish guys please. 1. How far is it from Poznan to Leszno and roughly how long will it take? 2. Someone suggested its 1 main road from the airport to within a short distance of the stadium ( E261 ) Are they correct? Any help or advice appreciated and looking forward to it. -
With Jonsson,Shields,Harris,Johnston and Smolinski due to be riding in the KOC semi-final on saturday and Richardson and Howe injured, that line up will change a fair bit.

Just shows how lucky people can be when they close their eyes and the finger falls on Bombers name. -

Since when have I said Nicholls is my "hero".You really like making things up to distract from what an idiot you have made yourself out to be. If you had bothered to take in what I have said on this issue, in that I agree Nicholls should not be in the GPs,however you continue to resort to name calling, insults and stomping your feet like a pathetic 5 yr old just because those nasty people at BSI wont listen to you. -

"Whoring about". You really are one sad individual. Still with level of intelligence you portray in your posts its not surprising. And your "crusade" to get Nicholls excluded from the GPs is one big failure also. -

So the same self deluded individual is still going on about Nicholls being a serial failure. One question everyone has to ask is "What is the aim of every rider who competes in the Grand Prix". The answer is I reckon "To be World Champion". Therefore everyone with the exception of Crump can be put in that category. Even Nikki P is a 3yr failure and Hancock a 9yr failure. Even Adams and his beloved Gollob have been a serial failure for a lot longer than Nicholls and neither of them will ever be World Champion. However as BSI run the GPs, BSI rules state that the top 8(which include 7 failures) automatically go through - incl Gollob. But as BSI rules state they can nominate 4 other failures of their own choice, and as I have posted before, that WILL depend on the representations of the 4 leading speedway countries (Den/Swe/Pol/Eng), whether anyone likes it or not. It is their rules and their choice - simply put. So the continual boredom of one individual going on about "integrity","shame","begging bowl" and other insults will continue I am sure. Just remember - Tomasz Gollob, is one of, if not the greatest serial failure in the history of the Grand Prixs - FACT. -

Have to agree - wow! Comparing whether a speedway rider gets in to the grand prix or not, with Churchill and Hitler. Somebody seriously needs some help. -

Insults yet again WITH a hint of attempted humour. How sad. If Nicholls does get a nomination I am sure the vast majority of supporters will just get on with cheering for or against him, while you continue with your utterly boring crusade of how right you are. -

I see the personal insults towards Nicholls are still coming. Personally hope he doesnt get a wildcard, because I feel he would get that kick he requires to step up to a more consistent level like Andersen has this season. Would like to see you question Nicholls integrity face to face instead of from behind a keyboard. Think we know the answer to that. -

Having a go at people who wear Nicholls merchandise now. Your hatred of Nicholls and anything to do with him is so pathetic, along with your boasting that you can afford to wear that expensive crap. Plus it is getting very very boring. -

PK never qualified when he was in the GP proper and did not qualify through the qualifying rounds. Trouble is BSI is a company that looks to maximise its return from each GP and having a minimum 1 or 2 riders from Sweden/Denmark/Poland/England is to them, a financial necessity as 90-95% of all supporters over all the GPs, come from those 4 countries. So right or wrong, whoever BSI choose, will be based upon this. By the way, that voodoo doll of Nicholls you obviously keep by you - you surely must be running out of pins to stick in it -

So as Nicholls, Pedersen and Lindback have all not qualified, which 4 riders would you pick to provide as much entertainment as they serve up. -
See you have put your "cultural" photos on Shaun. Didnt realise you could take so many pictures of the no 22 tram Enjoyed all the photos guys and everyones company - an excellent 1st visit to Prague. Heres to next year hopefully

Well he has got more money than sense or golfing skills

Apparently all the riders at practice today with the exception of Richardson incl his motorhome. Hans and B.Pedersen did no bother to go out on the track.

Prague- Who Is Going?
double_0 replied to Sandie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Will confirm for you Sandie as she is rarely at home. Myself and buzzy will be going out on thursday and looking forward to our 1st visit to Prague. -
Well done to the Danes on a well deserved victory. Speedway would be so boring without riders such as Andersen, Nicki Pedersen, Nicholls, Crump, Jonsson and Lindback. Right or wrong decisions, everyone will have their own opinion, but it made for good television.
