the biggest fan mike bennett has is himself, and the problem is he listens to himself when he says how good he is hope you keep improving the facilities at the OTA it is a great race track -

enjoyed the meeting, even with sheffields pathetic display, and after the first five or so races the racing was very good. however the stadium itsself is not up to hosting a major PL meeting. i dont understand how the standing areas can get a H & S certificate when the concrete terracing on th back straight at sheffield can only be used with strict conditions attached to its opening. if, as JC said, he wants to take the super sevens to the next level another track needs to be found for this event, purly because of the lack of facilities, one perminant toilet for the whole stadium is a bit much. that said somerset put on a good show on a good track with good racing and hopefully the stadium facilities will be improved in the future. -

redcar fans want a reason why they are excluded, as any supporter of any team would if it happened to them clear rules published before they are put into practice would solve the problem -

you are as obsessive with your remarks as some as the redcar fans you are accusing are with theres. stand back look at the full picture and say whether it is fair or not, you might be surprised at your new understanding -

There seems to be a number of riders who are well within their comfort zone at sheffield and if they do want to progress in the sport they have to take a long hard look at themselves, mainly ricky and ben, niether of which have made the expected progress this season, especially as the league is a lot weaker than it was last year. the only two riders who have progressed this season are paul cooper and joel parsons who need to be the first two names on next seasons team sheet along with kyle and lee complin, if either of those two will ride for sheffield again -

The main improvement that has to be made is for a full set of rules to be published before the season starts, that way no one can have any complaints. all the complaints have come about because most of the rules have been applied and then explained (or not explained) afterwards. Reasons for some decisions have been nonsensical and the reasons behind other decisions have not been explained at all. if lessons are learnt from this year, then thats OK but i feel that some mistakes would not have been made if lessons had been learned from earlier events this season and i can fully understand the frustration of the redcar fans with the decision over the fours, i think a few people need to step back and look at the larger picture regarding this, then they might understand the redcar fans point of view, if they want to that is. -

think if you check back quite a few people mentioned the fact the Stonehewer didnt have an average and that wrights average was based on one ride that he did not complete. no answer from anyone in authority about this has been forthcoming many people have asked what the criteria for the wild card was as well no answer from anyone in authority about this has been forthcoming i never understood why redcar were kicked out of the competition, but then i never understood why birmingham got the wildcard entry either. so not getting at any other teams but we were given the very basic rules, and then teams have put in and taken out at the whim of somebody, same as in the pairs. the super 7s revamping hasnt worked and there has no statement from either the BSPA or chapman. the so called organiser, about any of the above, i think next season thay should dispence with the crap and just say we will invite the teams / riders we want and we tell the fans where they are going to be held a couple of weeks before they take place. Then the supporters will know as much about what is happening as we do now but at least we would have nothing to complain about

What was the weather like yesterday, and if t it is going to be off will they call it off early enough for us not to travel / cancel hotel bookings or will it be like the fours and let people in in the full knowledge there was never going to be a meeting -

Time to bury this as we wont get the truth and worry about the most important meeting of the speedway year, that is going to be held at sheffield Garry Steads benefit meeting, so all those supporters who were coming to sheffield for the ELRC should come to this instead, support Gary and forget the ELRC -

so i wonder if the "technical details" will stop sheffield holding a meeting that night, think not, so the ELRC was never in danger of not being staged, and we didnt need a guardian angel to step in with the offer of another track -

only slanderous if not true, not saying whether it is or not as i dont have the evidence, and as everyone above supporter level is saying nothing dont think we ever will, which in its self speaks volumes -

the sheffield promotion have been told to keep quiet by the BSPA or risk a fine. and the reason why so many posts from sheffield fans is that we know the reason isnt an air fence and we would like to know the real reason so email the bspa and see what they say, however next years ELRC will be over before you get a reply -

what other day do you suggest, cant run mondays, thats one of the reasons the CL team was pulled, only other free day sundays, which would make a massive difference to sheffield supporters. dont think there will ever be air fences at PL and CL level, unless sky televise more meetings, no need for the stadiums to look alike or for increased advertising revenue from the advertising on the fence
