OK will check tonight for you
-
give me a couple of days to dig the programme ouit, ill scan it and email it to you both if you like
-
yes thats right, and thats the attitude that enables promoters to not promote and to year on tear tell us costs are rising too fast and must be cut and the standards drop and supporters go away from the sport. hop you will still be saying that when there are only a few teams left.
-
didnt ask what you, i, or tim stone wanted, asked what would be better for speedway
-
well whats better for speedway , newport or a well supported Bristol answers begining with b please
-
how long has berwick been in scotland?
-
I cant remember when the rules about the 1 to 5 came in, but i can remember exeter having Ivan Mauger at no 2 for some away matches many years ago
-
Totally agree, the two lowest riders at 6 & 7, 1 - 5 in what ever order the team manager wants. at least it would give the team manager something to think about, although in sheffields case it might not be a good thing
-
Yes they were and still are in to breaking cars for spares in rotherham, still think i heard thats where tommy made his money as well but not sure
-
heard it was something to do with scrap metal, but not sure but have heard he is quire well off, good luck to him.
-
and you know that their employers would do this for them? and what about the people doing this extra work, thats not an option, all that would happen is you would get an even greater gulf between the proffessional riders riding nearly every night and the amateur ones riding once or twice every two weeks. wont happen, and if it did it would kill speedway as we know it, might even be the end of team speedway
-
and what happens to the lesser riders who only ride in england, one meeting a week would not make it worth their while.
-
should have the programme somewhere if it would be a help to you
-
just a dream but we might some people with common sense and a common interest in taking the sport forward, if only.
-
couldnt agree more, no points limits and get rid of the jokers and we might be on the way to a professional sport at last
